OUTRAGEOUS! We were looking for a place to have dinner. There was no menu displayed, so we approached a lady and asked for one to check what they served. She invited us to sit down and said she would bring the menu shortly (there were plenty of empty tables). We sat down, and before bringing us the menu, she suggested we order a drink — an “aperitif” in her own words. We wanted to look at the menu first, but she started listing the available drinks, and we ended up ordering two drinks without asking the price, because honestly we felt a bit pressured to order quickly.
When the drinks finally arrived — along with the menu — we understood why the menu wasn’t displayed and why so many empty tables. The prices were completely unreasonable for the place, even more expensive than at the Michelin-starred restaurant just a few blocks away. We didn’t want to order anything else out of feeling pressured again, so we decided to take a moment to look over the menu while sipping the aperitif the lady herself had convinced us to order.
That’s when she told us, in an aggressive tone, that if we weren’t going to eat, we had to leave. That was the first shock. I told her we just needed some time to review the menu, but if she kept being aggressive, we really wouldn’t eat there at all. She went inside and came back with what seemed to be her boss.
An unhinged and aggressive man stormed over, calling us “ridículas” and “payasas” upfront. He accused us of sitting at the table without permission and claimed we were just looking for a lounge to get drunk. He insisted that we should pay for the drinks and leave immediately. We refused — we were willing to leave because of the terrible treatment, but only after finishing our overpriced drinks (10€ for aperol, when anywhere else in Roses you pay 6-7€)
He continued yelling and insulting us, and we said we would call the police if he tried to forcibly remove us. He walked away and began muttering to other customers, insulting us in front of everyone. It was honestly so shocking it almost felt comical. All the customers kept eating calmly, as if scenes like that were just part of their usual routine.
He came back to our table and repeated, “Pay and leave.” We insisted we would pay after finishing our drinks and then leave. He grabbed the glasses from our hands and screamed at us to get out. We left so shaken that I forgot my shirt on the chair. When I returned five minutes later, I found it in the trash bin.
All in all, the most shocking experience I’ve ever had as a customer. It’s a shame because the food actually seems to have decent reviews despite of not looking impressive at all, but the staff is completely unprepared and rude. We ended up going to the Michelin-starred restaurant — that was worth the high price, for both the experience and the respectful treatment. In Moma they think they are very special, but they are...

Our experience here was truly awful. As soon as we sat down, we were pressured to order drinks, even though we were still deciding what to eat. The owner came to our table, judged us, and even called me a "clown" just because we hadn't decided on our food yet.
We were kicked out of the restaurant, possibly just for being tourists. The owner clearly has no emotional control and treated us with total disrespect.
To make things worse, we forgot a shirt at the table, and when we went back to ask, they said they didn’t find anything. I looked around myself and found it in the trash!
The place might look attractive from the outside, but don’t fall for it. The service is terrible, the atmosphere is hostile, and the prices don’t match the quality at all. Unfortunately, with management like this, this restaurant is not...
Read moreOne of the best restaurants I have found in Spain so far. Not immediately visible as it’s not on the shoreline/paseo, but it’s still a very nice place with tables outside under a patio. And the food! Ah the 2 sisters should be blesses for what they are able to deliver to your plate. From tapas to steaks, from fresh fish to seafood to desserts, nothing is beyond them and when the plate reaches your table, your eyes are the first ones to enjoy it. No need to recommend it, just go and you’ll...
