La Fresa — Restaurant in Salamanca

If you're still looking, stop, and go here. The vibe on a Tuesday night were so wonderfully contagious. The place was alight with positive energy, cheerful faces, laughter with the slightest hint of calamity that is commonplace for a great tapas bar. Every table was full and the service was STILL excellent. Our server was clearly working very hard and I admire his effort to be attentive and ensure our orders were taken and delivered timely, along with his other tables as well.

The food? Absolutely fantastic. We were a party of two who shared all plates. We ordered the Morcillo (tosta), jamón ibérico, gambas (plato), queso & membrillo (plato), and solomillo (tosta). We also had two glasses of wine each, for a total of €50. This was arguably too much for us two to finish but I couldn't let it go to waste and ate it all. I don't say this lightly - everything was incredibly well prepared, served hot, and tasted fantastic.

If you've read this far, because you'll probably go here, and read the following comment: Do NOT miss their Morcilla con tomate caramelizada. It is easily the best morcilla I've ever had, I'll be back just to have that plate again.

A Wonderful Contemporary wine bar/tapas/restaurant. Just a 10 min walk north from the Plaza Major,and so worth going here. The bacalo tapa was the best bacalo we have tasted( we live near the coast Malaga province) and Never tasted Bacalo this good! The mixed plato of Iberico products was great value too. We returned the next day for my husbands birthday..it was this good. Get there when it opens,you will not be disappointed. Just wish we lived closer. This place is Perfect in every way. Please...

Voy a ser completamente claro, si buscas un buen chorizo o un buen queso están buenísimos. Torreznos no tenian que es ppr lo que principalmente veniamos, pero no es por eso las 2 estrellas. Como se puede ver en la fotos es un bar tirando a pequeño, pero aun así habia mesas libres ( mesas reservadas ) pero que en los 30 min que hemos estado nadie se ha sentado en ninguna. Llevamos un niño pequeño con silla, niño de un año. Mi mujer le ha dado pecho de pie.... cuado hemos pedido calentar un tarro de pure no se ha puesto buena cara en absoluto. Bajo mi punto de vista se tiene que antender igual al que te pide una coca cola y al que te pide medio bar, pero hemos visto que no es así y eso que no creo que hayamos consumido ni poco ni mal. Venimos 1 vez al año o 2 a Salamanca y me gusta probar nuevos bares, y miro mucho las reseñas, si un bar nos gusta mucho repetimos pero no va a ser el caso. Aún así siempre pienso que lo mejor es ir y probar y que cada uno dé su propia experiencia y opinión. Dejo...
