Happened upon these guys by chance. Walked into town from Motril along the beach. Had a walk through town, beautiful place. Went back to the little Square we had seen with tables out. All full I may add. First restaurant / cafe that we had seen that was full outside. Ordered drinks and suddenly realised they were English. Excuse my ignorance in not learning the lingo, but its bloody hard to order something when you haven't the foggiest what it says! Rosettastone for me for Christmas! I think it was Phil, apologies, came over and explained everything in detail. Superb host. Excellent food and beers. Read morePhil and Martin are friendly, are very customer oriented, know the area and are genuinely very nice people always willing to chat and get to know their customers. They're both very hard working and it's clear they take pride in their business. The bar is clean with an immaculate bathroom and a nice outdoor patio area where you can enjoy drinks and tapas.

Had a lovely time visiting Bar Amigos a few times during my 12 day stay in Salobrena and will for sure visit the next time I vacation again...

You can lose hours here watching the slow pace of the town pass by.
What really makes the place stand out though are the owners. They’re warm, friendly, and went out of their way to set up both the EPL and F1 for me — a rare level of hospitality that makes you feel like a regular from day one.
So as a bonus if you’re looking for a place to watch football or sport on the Costa Tropical, while enjoying great food, great coffee, and genuinely kind hosts, Bar...
