The food was terrible. The calamari was tough and tasteless and inedible. The potatoes were terrible. The zucchini was cold. We didn’t eat the meal it was so bad. The grumpy waitress notice but didn’t say anything. She then came over to take the dish and I told her the food wasn’t good. She didn’t say anything but took the calamari that was hardly touched and scraped it into a bin. She never asked what was wrong. Didn’t apologise. Didn’t offer any thing else. Didn’t take it to the kitchen to tell the chef. When presented with the bill which included the full cost of the calamari, I told a different waitress what had happened. She seemed very used to receiving complaints but not accepting them. An argument ensued in front of the other diners. The grumpy waitress joined in and offered no excuse for her bad behaviour. What a terrible restaurant....

We’ve been here on a sunny March day off on the way back from Granada. It was so random our stop by and thanks God we did it, this place was amazing. Given that it was March it wasn’t packed so we easily found a spot on the terrace and had a quiet lunch there. The waitress was so friendly and professional. We had the walnuts, raisins and tuna salad as starter to share and an “arroz” of Secreto and mushrooms, OMG it was stunning. Lastly had as deserts a tarta de queso and tiramisu. Very good quality and fair prices. The quiet atmosphere made it all perfect: sunny, no wind at all, very few people dining at the same time. One down side is that to reach it you need to literally climb the village and it can be steep, but...

One of our favourite restaurants in Salobrena. Set in the old town along the atmospheric streets you can hear the bustle from the restaurants roof terrace, with magnificent views. We have been going to Bar Pesetas for 20 years , when the original Antonio ( sadly passed away) was always a great character and welcomed us.
