Quite simply put, "La Bodega" is one of the the best, if not the best, restaurant in Salobreña. The food is typical Andalucian cuisine, skilfully prepared and presented by attentive and hard-working staff. The Chateaubriand is exquisite here and served to your liking; as is the Monkfish - skewered on a mini-sword with prawns - just to rave about two of the excellent dishes on offer. In Andalucian style your drinks are served with a tapa, and here you can guarantee they will whet your appetite splendidly.

This is a family run restaurant founded 30 years ago by Francisco Martin and his wife. They really have maintained the authenticity of the place as it is the original "Bodega" (Wine Cellar) of the town. Don't forget to check out the pottery and other artefacts on the walls either, some of which date from the time of the Phoenicians! The restaurant boasts three spaces too: the main restaurant, the bar area and the terrace.

Este bar es una verdadera joya escondida. Desde que Cristian tomó las riendas hace algo menos de dos años, el cambio ha sido espectacular. La amabilidad con la que te reciben es algo que se nota desde que entras por la puerta, y el ambiente es muy acogedor.

La calidad de la comida es excelente, todo lo que he probado ha sido delicioso, con sabores auténticos y bien elaborados. Además, algo que me sorprendió gratamente es que incluso después de pedir la comida, te siguen poniendo tapas gratis. ¡Un detalle que habla del cuidado que ponen en todo!

La relación calidad-precio es inmejorable, ya que la calidad de los productos es altísima, pero los precios siguen siendo muy asequibles, algo difícil de encontrar hoy en día. Otro punto a destacar es lo limpio que está todo, se nota el cuidado en cada rincón del local.
