The location is beautiful. We were excited to try a variety of dishes after it was recommended to us.

To start, we ordered a mixed salad, fried anchovies, and puntillas (baby cuttlefish). However, there was a mix-up with the order. While placing our order, I also mentioned that I wanted to try a paella as our main dish. Surprisingly, the waiter returned with the paella within a couple of minutes, without serving our starters first. I was expecting our starters to arrive before the main course, but unfortunately, they didn't.

Besides The paella itself appearing cold and sloppy. I immediately requested to change it, and we ended up ordering a mixed fried fish instead. This dish again arrived so promptly whilst we were still waiting for our starters. It would have been more logical to serve the starters first, but everything was served at once.it would also been good to be advised that the fried fish had anchovies this would of given us the opportunity to order something different as we had two dishes of the same thing

On the positive side, the fish was fresh, and the salad portion was generous, the fried fish lacked crispness as it seemed to be fried at a low oil temperature, resulting in it absorbing too much oil.

Overall, our experience at Bar Manolo lacked. We got served what we ordered & left the restaurant feeling disappointed deciding to have coffee and...

Read about this place and decided to try it out. A little off the beaten path outside of Salobrena on the beach. We parked for free, amazingly, (and we're only asked for a donation), about 200M from the eatery. We did not have a reservation. However, after being told all tables were fully booked, I asked to use one of the reserved tables and said the 3 of us would vacate when the guests arrived. It was about 1.15 pm and the table was booked for 2.00 pm. A tall, young waited humored my request and we were promptly seated and served. Immediately we were served 6 huge shrimp, complimentary. Food was great. A half ration of Bouqerones Fritos was huge and excellent. One salad with huge chunks of tasty tomates with lots of slices of avocado and a very generous portion of good quality Bonito tuna on top. Another salad without the tuna. Both with a generous dressing of olive oil. Bread and allioli for 3. Excellent value. 2 apple pie desserts a little over priced. The Med. was a little rough and we occasionally felt the spray from the high waves. On a very hot day, it was welcoming. Overall, great location, authentic, great ambiance and good food. Waiter was excellent. PS, not one word of English did we hear spoken! Truly a...

The food is very good. The service as well. The views couldn’t be better since the restaurant terrace is next to the beach. The prices are really good, cheaper than any other beach restaurant and the quality is very similar. Frituras are quite good, cazón my favourite. They also put a very nice tapas at the beginning to share. Nice squid too. Great wine suggestions.
