The Corner — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Pleasant surroundings and good waiter service. Since posting the above review, this restaurant has deteriorated considerably and barely warrants even 1 star. It took the waiter more than 20 minutes before he even acknowledged our existence as her was too busy fooling about with other customers. We eventually managed to order our drinks and, before we could place our food order, he left. We tried again to place our food order when he brought the drinks but he seemed very distracted and, once again, he left. Whilst I appreciate that the place was quite busy, we never actually managed to get his full attention. When he finally deigned to speak to us (at last!), we gave him our food order. Then he asked the first person who ordered if they were eating anything. It seemed to us as though he was so busy trying to put on a show for the other customers he wasn't paying us any attention. He tries far too hard to be a funny guy and ended up annoying everyone in our group. By this time the place had got a lot quieter so we ordered more drinks and, to save time as he was so 'busy', the bill. The drinks came but no bill. By this time we were all so wound up we seriously considered walking out without paying. We asked again for the bill and the waiter asked if we wanted to pay with cash or by card. When we eventually got the bill he omitted to bring the card machine, and we had to wait a further 10 minutes or so. I have never met a more arrogant, conceited person in my life. Me dirijo exclusivamente a los k se dedican en escribir comentarios negativos (parece k os pagan en escribirlo), primero todos los k se quejan no respetan ni los carteles, ni las indicaciones de los camareros, como en los demas establecimientos (supermercado, farmacias, bancos etc) y termino con este tema...Vamos al lillo voy con mi familia y amigos casi todos los fines de semana a esta cafeteria y lo unico q le falta una persona de extra ( me imagino k los tiempos no corren para emplear otra persona) pero aun asi se esfuerzan en dar servicio de calidad para un picolabis eh, ayer mismo estuve alli con mi mujer y no habia mesa a la sombra, el camarero nos atendio muy educado y se preocupo en buscar una mesa a la sombra y asi fue, no se como lo hizo pero de repente nos llamo nos sentemos en la mesa k estaba muy limpia, despues me he fijado la coordinacion k tenian entre ellos, uno recojia lo k habia en la mesa y el otro iba detras con el bote de pelukeria y le pasaba a las mesas...Tocamos el otro tema, el camarero no es un policia para exigir k tengan las mascarillas puestas...Por google le doy 5 estrellas pero para mi sois un 10 todo el staff...Disfrutar de los momentos cuando van a tomar algo donde sea y dejad de ver todo con ojos malos, seamos humanos como...

Auch der Name stimmt: es handelt sich um ein Ecklokal zu ebener Erde im Centro Comercial El Tablero. Ein sehr angenehmes Plätzchen, um seinen Shopping- Marathon zu unterbrechen oder einfach eine (Zwischen-)Mahlzeit zu sich zu nehmen, evtl. auch in flüssiger Form....man sitzt sehr angenehm wahlweise draußen unter Sonnenschirmen oder auch im inneren Teil, der aber wesentlich kleiner und - so finde ich - nicht so gemütlich ist. Das Angebot ist sehr vielfältig, hier wird quasi jeder fündig, und das auch noch zu attraktiven Preisen. Der appetitlichen Kuchentheke kann man nur schwer widerstehen, auch eine Eisgondel mit bekanntem Markeneis fehlt nicht. Die Speisen sind lecker, schön angerichtet, vom Frühstück bis zum Dessert. Kein Wunder eigentlich, daß wir hier Stammkunden geworden sind. Ein idealer Platz auch für Familien, für Rollstuhlfahrer oder einfach für sich allein. Ganz besonders gefällt mir der nahezu perfekte Service, unaufdringlich-aufmerksam (!), richtig nett und gekonnt. Zum 5 . Stern kam es leider nicht, da die Toilette manchmal vernachlässigt wirkt.
