What an amazing place! We went there to have some arepas and ended up having nice (and very cold!) beer, an amazing pineapple smoothie and a personal recommendation from the owner of the place. Delicious & reasonably priced food, great service from attentive & friendly staff. A must visit when in Lanzarote, let alone Playa Honda!

I had 2 arepas (1 black beans with cows cheese 1 pulled beef with goats cheese) 1 cheese empanada (the crispy deep-fried corn type i love!) 1 cachapa with cheese & butter, 1 yuca chips with garlic & a rooibos tea… All delicious!

Nice empanadas and arepas. We enjoyed in particular the pabellon empanada, especially the crunchy exterior which I think was made with corn flour. Lots of meat in the arepas, we ordered too much.
