I don't say this lightly, the worst food I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Absolutely appalling. I don't often review restaurants badly and I'm aware this is going to read like an assassination, but it feels like a duty to let other people know to avoid this restaurant and avoid spoiling their night. The food really is that bad.

Maybe let's start with the positive: the waiters were polite and attentive (and didn't raise a fuss about the amount of food we left on our plates after each course). I honestly spent the meal feeling bad for them because they must know the food they're bringing out is depressingly terrible.

The food was impressively disgusting. Nothing was fresh, but if it were just pre-bought and reheated supermarket food it would have been a big improvement.

Unfortunately I ordered the set 3 course menu so felt obliged to see it through, but I really regret not throwing in the towel and cutting my losses after the first course.

For the starter I had the 'ceviche'. This was almost comically bad. It was effectively a tub of Doritos salsa with a few defrosted prawns mixed into it garnished with some badly chopped onions and some crackers and tortilla chips on the side. It basically tasted like a plate of ketchup and served as a warning for what was to come.

My wife ordered the tomato tostadas. These were soggy and clearly bought oven ready and then reheated in the microwave. This is a staple Spanish dish so to serve it in this way is really embarrassing.

My main was a minute steak. The portion size was generous, however, despite being a very thin and medium cooked cut of meat, it was very stringy and chewy. I was having to pull out chunks of every mouthful. It was also swimming in garlic butter so I couldn't really taste the steak, but I'll give the chef the benefit of the doubt on this one and call that a stylistic choice rather than being objectively bad.

Finally, for the dessert I had the chocolate tart. I expected this to be at least passable: how bad can a ready bought tart be right? In the end it had a sour tang to it and a strange grainy texture. I took two bites and thought it best not to risk getting ill if the dairy had gone off.

In the end, I left with a bad taste in my mouth both figurative and literal. I really regret letting my courtesy get the better of me and not saying something to the staff or cutting the meal short. I think I just felt so guilty for the staff that I didn't want to upset them.

I have no idea how the other reviews are so high, this was...

The food (microwaved food) was a disgrace. I would avoid eating here as not only the taste was terrible but also there is a risk of getting ill from it as none of it was fresh and also smelled bad. I ordered the garlic and tomato bread and the ceviche, the bread was soggy as if it was microwaved and the ceviche tasted ok ketchup and the prawns were frozen. My sister ordered potatoes which were again frozen. I honestly don't understand the reviews. I think its shameful to make people pay for this and these amounts. It is also shameful to serve unfresh food and risk intoxicating people. This place ruined my last night in...

Just are a sort of dinner if you could call it that at La Opera ! Ordered garlic bread and both veggie burritos and mixed burritos Garlic bread. ..not much could go wrong here I hear you say But The bread slices were cold and dripping with garlic margarine it seemed couldn't eat it sorry guys then the burritos had at least three slices of plastic cheese slices melted on the top resulting in a lardy melt of fat running and pooling on the plate!!! Previous posts from other visitors must be deluded as this food could not really be classed as food!!! Reviewers out there ....PLEASE be...

Welcomed at the door, seated with drinks and a menu very quickly. The restaurant was cool despite the soaring heat outside. We chose from the set menu, three options, one for 15.90€, 17.90€ or 19.90€. All three courses. I chose from menu 1. Greek salad, pork fillet Normande and passion fruit mousse. Each dish was extremely tasty and well presented. The staff were very attentive. A beautiful restaurant, well worth a trip if you’re staying on the island.

We ordered there through glovo. Don't do that. We ordered 2 Greek salads which were not at all Greek. The sauce made everything worse tasted rotten. The portions were so small we still were hungry afterwards. The potatoes were still kinda frozen, the food seemed out of the cooler. Never order here, maybe they do better in the restaurant, but to deliver something like this is just the worst.

You cold order three different options. 1 for 13 99 1 for 15.99 and one for 17.99. You had a choice of starter, then main course then desert. I choose the 17.99 so did my wife and my daughter. My son chose the 15.99 option. We all were very happy with our choices and the service. Drinks were extra. You could also order from the menu separately. Wonderful meal. Highly recommended.
