If I could, I would give it 6 stars. The food, the service, the ambience - with the relaxed vibe of the bodegas down by the beach, just without the usual hustle and bustle and noise. The wine and food service is outstanding - you can ask for a specific wine or flavor you're after - they're happy to help you make the most of your time in their presence!

Every course we had was flavorful and nuanced (we can highly recommend the cheese/charcuterie platter as a starter, even the half plate had so many flavors and was so carefully chosen!), not to mention the wine that paired perfectly with it. It certainly wasn't our cheapest night on the island, but for what we got, it was more than worth it. we spent a month in playa Honda . we made many visits to la sede .The quality of the wines where the best i have ever tasted. The wines that were served as house reds and whites were always excellent .the price range for a glass of house wine was four to seven euro depending what you were looking for .we only ever asked Denis or Suzanna the mother and son team who own the wine bar for recommendations The food offerings were always top quality and so tasty .Denis and Suzanna make the wine bar what it is the atmosphere is always very welcoming and friendly.We attended one of the wine tastings which was a great night .if we had this in dublin ireland you would have to book a table six months in advance.i would like to thank Denis and Suzanne for there hospitality.They are so welcoming to complete strangers. If you are into wine then this bar - La Sede in Playa Honda - is absolutely worth a visit. My husband and I visited yesterday lunch and we returned tonight with our two kids because it was so good. We paid 20 euros from Puerto del Carmen in a taxi to get there and it was totally worth it. They specialise in Lanzarote and mainland Spanish wine. It’s like going for a wine tasting as they let you try different wines and then you choose your favourite to drink. The mum and son are German and have lived in Lanzarote for 20yrs.
