Tasquita El Bodegon — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Oh my, where do I even start..... We've been to many of the canarian islands, Tenerife mostly. And the food was always amazing, so this time when we went to Gran Canaria we expected more of the same. We always carefully select our restaurants and arent afraid to drive more then half an hour for a good spot. So when our first couple of restaurants were very.... mediocre.. We were quite disappointed. But then we found this restaurant, no fancy boulevard terrace or mountain views., just in an ordinary street. But you will not believe the food that is served here.... I am at a loss for words. I would have never expected to have one of the best meals of my life on this little terrace. The hosts are very polite and interested, even if you tried you couldn't have your glass empty for more then a couple of seconds. Extremely attentive and above all, you feel truly welcome.

For anyone having second doubts due to the location, just go for it. Unlike most of the exaggerating reviews you'll read, this really might be the best restaurants on the...

We were looking for a restaurant far from the tourist part of the city. This place had good reviews even though it looked quite simple from the outside. We ordered salmon with spinach sauce and tuna seviche. The service and taste were truly amazing. That salmon was the best I’ve had in my entire life. The only downside was that the terminal was temporary unavailable. But the staff helped us out with getting cash and offered a free drink for the inconvenience :) Totally...

We visited Tasquita El Bodegon on Sunday at the end of our trip, and we couldn’t be happier that we discovered this amazing place!
