CASA AZZURRI SAN JAVIER — Restaurant in San Javier

Excellent Italian restaurant - with an Italian owner 🤩🍾 We found this very good and cozy restaurant because of good feedback. And it certainly lived up to expectations. The children ordered different things; everything from pizza, burger, Pasta Bolognese and pasta carbonara. I have had very good starters here. You should try the "Timbal di foie" (with foie gras). The first visit was an excellent Pasta Carbonara for me. The next visit a super - and sizzling hot Lasagna. Both dishes were delicious. The owner and the staff are very nice. The owner Gigi was also very helpful - far beyond what you might expect. We couldn't get a taxi when we were going home... but Gigi never gave up - and spent at least 15 minutes getting us a taxi. He even sought help from neighboring restaurants to find solutions for a taxi. The total experience; with both food and service was so exceptional, that we went back two days later. Again this time a lot of different things were ordered. And everyone was super...

Finally found an authentic Italian Restaurant in the area, the welcome was warm and friendly. we sat outside with a drink as we studied the excellent range of meals on offer.....all four of us had decided what to have before we saw the vast range of pizzas etc on the other side...seated inside by the owner, who I believe is called Gigi? He was enthusiastic about each choice we made. Starting with stuffed courgette flowers, gnocchi bread, never had it before but we will again..and baked cheese terracotta, some very nice wine recommended by Gigi....followed by the best carbonara, cannelloni and tagliatelle all superbly cooked and fresh and hot! thinking we would not have room for dessert, we forced ourselves to try the ice cream, and the most unusual but very delicious tiramisu, coffees were good and a very pleasant end to super evening...and it didn't cost an arm and a leg, see...

An absolute gem of a restaurant. Myself, my wife and daughter had been looking for an authentic Italian restaurant and chose this one.....it was the right choice. The staff were all amazing and the food didn't disappoint. It was freshly cooked with quality ingredients and so delicious. This is a family restaurant with a family feel and it all makes for the best Italian...
