Bombay Darbar — Restaurant in San Javier

This was the first time we have been to the Bombay Darbur and was not disappointed. Our welcome too the restaurant was very welcoming and pleasant. After being shown to our seats and having a look at the menu we decided to have the prawn puri to start and we have to say it was one of the best we have tried. Then onto the main course Butter chicken and methi gosht with mushrooms pilou rice, mixed naan bread. The butter chicken was devine the best my wife and I have ever had. I had the methi gosht land curry something I have never tried before and was very impressed lovely fresh flavours and the right spices 😋. All in all a very nice evening was spent at the Bombay Darbur and I would also like to add that if you would like any meal in a certain way like with more or less spices different meats or lentils the three chefs will be happy to oblige. After almost giving up ever to find good high quality Indian food in Spain. At Long last we went to visit Bombay Darbar. It was an absolute wonderful experience.It has restored our faith in Finding excellent indian food in Spain. So much so we went for the 2nd time in just over 1 week. Prince and his wonderful friendly staff and Kamel the chef are amazingly helpful. They will try to make the food exactly to how you like it cooked. We had 2 people with us last night who had never ate Indian food as they were afraid of the And they loved it. We will definitely recommend this friendly, great food and great atmosphere restaurant to all our friends. Approx 50 per couple with drinks Hopefully we will see the staff next year . Been again 3 nights in a row, this time I sat in on each visit I had the same dishes in each of the three nights because I really enjoyed them that MUCH, they were absolutely delicious. I had the pompy doms to start followed by chicken jalfrezi vindalo hot with lemon rice and a garlic rote. highly recommended. Staff were very helpful and efficient always with a smile and greeting.

I had a takeaway chicken jalfrezi with lemon rice and it was very good, the staff were very helpful and I like it when you can see into the kitchen which had a glass front.
