La Bodega de San Miguel — Restaurant in San Miguel de Abona

We are normally happy, easily pleased and humble ppl. but this experience was really really bad. Little interest from the staff of taking our order and we also asked for bread several times and told them we were really hungry…several times. They confirmed several times they would come out with bread immediately……and we were still sitting without as much as a bread crum almost an hour after we came. I ended up going back to our house to have some bread before the food was served due to great frustration….

Some of the eventually served food was ok but my goat cheese salad had way too much salt and too much sugar….and i usually put a lot of salt on my food… so they put waaay too much then. It was our first meal when we arrived very tired, and with my father in law who was not feeling great. Fabulous food cheered us up, although notable fastest. However the wait was worth it. Great quality, good portions and quite delicious. Lovely house wine by the carafe. So good we wanton our way home to the airport. We dined at this restaurant yesterday night, we were really hungry because our flight was delayed. The only option nearby was this place and it really satisfied our expectations. Food was delicious, service was polite and friendly.
