Second review,

I said I would go back and I did, avoiding the pizza. The food we had was exactly what we wanted at the right price. Next time I am going to try the fried fish and calamari dishes the table next to us ordered, they looked very good.

Excellent service as always. Really good live music with what seemed like while town dancing on the seafront.

Another great night, can't wait to go back

First Review

The croquetas, tapas and sweet were lovely, BUT, the pizza was easily the worst pizza I have ever eaten, worse than a budget pizza from the supermarket. In addition to being horrible, it looked cooked, but was not hot. This supports other comments that suggest the food being frozen and microwaved. Worse it had this lukewarm luncheon meat stuff on top that we decided not to eat because it was not nice and could be dangerous due to the low temperature. When the food arrives and your wife looks at you and says" how hungry are you?", you know they are not impressed.

The position and atmosphere is really good, we were there for the love music and it was fab to see everyone dancing , a really good evening. There are great views of the coast.

The waiting staff were very good, especially the tall one who is apparently the owners son, he is very friendly. I see they have also got one of the waiters from Arangus, who we also found to be good.

Prices are reasonable but not cheap, especially the single bottles of beer, 2.70. Bowls of chips are expensive

Will we be going back? Definitely, we had a great evening and it would be unfair to judge a place on one bad meal.

However, we will not eat pizza there and will be careful to not have anything that can be microwaved.

My suggestion is that if they are not really good at pizza, remove it from the menu completely to avoid it spoiling people's...

We went for dinner and ordered: Marineras - ok Chicken wings - 50% of them undercooked with blood dripping 2 burgers with fries - burgers ok, although no flavour; fries - the cheapest frozen fries you can find Steak - horrible, had the consistency of an shoesole. This actually made me think that it might have been the cook's first day ever in a kitchen, near a grill.

When the best thing out of all of the above is Marinera, it should clearly say to anyone:...

Great Spanish homemade cuisine, traditional croquettes (three different varieties), eggs with ham, steaks. Burgers are also great. Amazing location sitting just in front of the beach. And great staff always looking after you. Prices are insanely cheap considering the quality and location. Great bar where locals and visitors meet.
