Confitería Panadería Cafetería Alicia — Restaurant in San Pedro del Pinatar

Le he dado una estrella por el pésimo trato que me dieron, muy poco profesional. Era el primer cumpleaños de mi hijo,y 3 días antes fui a la confitería Alicia para encargar una tarta de chocolate para que mi hijo pudiera probarlo por primera vez. Elegí una que había en la vitrina y la pedí sin azúcar si podía ser, si no, no habría problema. La chica que me atendió llamó delante mía al pastelero y le confirmó que no habría problema. Di mi número de teléfono por si había algún problema y quedé en recogerla el día del cumpleaños por la tarde. Cuando llegó el día, como no me habían llamado pensé que no habría habido ningún problema. Cuando llegué a la confitería me enseñaron una tarta de nata y chocolate que yo no había pedido, pues la que yo encargué era todo de chocolate con huevos Kinder y oreo. Después de quejarme, diciendo que esa tarta no era la que yo había encargado, llamaron a la encargada y su respuesta fue: " te la tienes que llevar porque ésta es sin azúcar y no la podemos vender" (esto me lo dijo dándome la espalda mientras caminaba de vuelta hacia la cocina). Al no tener más tiempo puesto que el cumpleaños de mi hijo empezaba una hora después, me la tuve que llevar ya que no me ofrecieron más opciones y encima haciéndome sentir como que la culpa había sido mía, cuando estaba claro la tarta que yo había encargado (le pusieron un par de huevos Kinder y algunas oreos supongo que para contentarme).

En fin, muy mal trato y poco profesional. No voy más.

With my son's first birthday caming up I've planned to introduce him to one of my favourite food: chocolate. I had every intention to ensure that I would arrange for a chocolate cake for my son. It seems to be a straight forward matter to order the chocolate cake at Alicia's to make sure it would be available 3 days before hand and I was assured that if there was any problem that I would be contacted. The day of my son's birthday arrived without any call to indicate there was any problem so I've nothing but full expectations that my son's chocolate cake was awaiting collection later that day. When I turned up there was a cake waiting for me but it was not the chocolate cake that I ordered but a cream cake! When I asked why was this I was told that they had made a mistake but I had to take that one anyway because then they wouldn't be able to sell it without any other option at this time, right on my son's birthday. I had to accept this. They even made me feel as if everything was my fault.If they had informed me earlier, as they had promised if there was a problem, then I might have been able to order a chocolate cake somewhere else, but they had to put their own financial game over the importance of my son's first birthday. Lovely staff to deal with, helpful and efficient. Made a birthday cake for our little girl at short notice. The cake was absolutely delicious, looked amazing and reasonably priced. This little cafeteria, bakery is quite nice. Small but it has good Spanish pastry stuff and also some minor snacks, for a quick bite. Their coffee is marvelous and overall it is very worthy. They also have cakes/pastel in non-Spanish style, more like the cakes we eat in Scandinavia.
