Los Calderos de Julia — Restaurant in San Pedro del Pinatar

Excellent position opposite the boat club and beach. The service was good but inside space was a bit of a squeeze, we were a bit close to the people next to us. Outside space was better set up with plenty of room between tables. The food was okay and the fish for sharing didn’t have much meat on it, it was mostly bones and we thought (as per other comments) that it was not good value for money at 40 Euro. I see from JOSE LUIS MARTINEZ 1 star comment below that they were also caught out by the Gallo Pedro dish except they were smart enough to challenge the bill, as we didn’t see the price, so that restaurant owes us 20 Euro, I include Jose Luis bill below mine. No one came to seat us despite the restaurant being just about empty, so had to go in to ask the barman where our table was. There was an employee sleeping hunched over a table in the bar. Quite a few things on both the drinks and the food menu were unavailable. The small plate starters were very good. We had caballitos, prawn croquettes and smoked sardine tostada and some amazing oysters, although they were room temperature despite sitting on some ice cubes. They didn't have 2 of the fish dishes we wanted so had to settle for the lenguada. It arrived after a long time, served by a very unfriendly lady (Julia?). The food was nearly cold. The fish was over cooked and rubbery, yet raw along the bone. From that, I can only conclude that this fish wasn't fresh and had previously been frozen. Bueno para no repetir ni recomendar, servicio lento y olvidadizo teniendo que repetir por favor me puedes traer limón para la "paella" ( si entrecomillado porque de paella poco ) decir si ahora traigo y terminado el arroz y el limón ni apareció, también se pidió algo más y hubo que repetir que lo trajeran porque nada se olvidan, como digo personal lento y olvidadizo, del arroz porque paella no es, pedimos una paella de marisco y en factura bien claro lo dicen y bien la cobran pero como bien se ve en la foto es un arroz un poco caldoso y el marisco 🤔🤔, ni vuelvo ni lo recomiendo a nadie, por cierto ese arroz un poco fuerte de sabor, pedí paella de mariscos y pagué por paella de marisco pero comimos un arroz que se llama ?.

Goed om niet te herhalen of aan te bevelen, trage en vergeetachtige service die moet worden herhaald, kun je me alsjeblieft citroen brengen voor de "paella" (indien tussen aanhalingstekens vanwege de kleine paella) zeg of ik nu de rijst en de citroen breng en opmaak, ook niet verschijnen, er werd ook om iets anders gevraagd en het was noodzakelijk om te herhalen dat ze het brachten omdat niets is vergeten, zoals ik zeg traag en vergeetachtig personeel, van de rijst omdat het geen paella is, we bestelden een paella met zeevruchten en op de factuur zeiden ze zeg het duidelijk en ze laden het goed op, maar zoals je kunt zien in De foto is een rijst een beetje soepachtig en de zeevruchten? Ik kom niet terug en raad het niemand aan, trouwens die rijst een beetje sterke smaak, ik bestelde zeevruchten paella en ik betaalden voor paella met zeevruchten, maar we aten een rijst genaamd?.
