Maï Briza — Restaurant in San Pedro del Pinatar

Maï Briza is a nicely styled, cosy place for a drink in the Port. Our order (2 cocktails and water) took very long to prepare, even though the bar wasnt even half full. The worst experience was, that the waiter intended to overcharge us for the order by nearly 150€!!!! He did it purposely, he had enough time to verify the amount on the screen and he looked kinda nervous about it. Our mistake for not checking what he has put on the machine. Lesson learned! The bill was around 17€80, the waiter has put the amount of 178.30€ on the machine, but the payment was rejected (card payment limits). We realized only later that evening. We are very sure it was a theft attempt, and we will be definitely telling all our friends about how customers are being treated in Maï Briza. The waiter must have assumed that us (foreigners) would be an easy target, they nearly stole 150e from us... disgusting. We will not be coming back...

We sat in the side of the marina in some very comfortable chairs. We ordered some drinks and some tapas. Drinks were fabulous and the food very tasteful. We started of with a coke zero and a Aperol Spritz. There are so many great cocktails on the menu it was hard to choose the next One. But we decides to go for the Primavera and the Bellini. Great choices! We decided to order Some tapas as well since we were hungry and the atmosphere was perfect. It was hard to decide if we would go for the patatas bravas or the patatas alliolio. We went for the bravas. They were nice and spicey. A plate of salmon to go with that with a lemon on the side. And the pollo frito. Big bites of chicken with a crust, yummie!

I really recommend this place if you want to eat some tapas while having a great view on the harbour. We ordered Patatas Bravas, tomato salad with Burrata and chicken dippers. All of them were delicious and well seasoned. We especially loved the tomato salad with Burrata, because the Burrata was very creamy. The staff was really friendly and accommodating as well.
