La Bodeguita del Puerto — Restaurant in San Roque

Yesterday, we had lunch here with the family, and everything was terrible, except for the fries, for which they charged an extra 10 euros for a separate portion. The restaurant was empty, yet we still waited 45 minutes for the food. We ordered calamari, which was terrible—chewy, with a bad fishy taste, completely unseasoned. The guy was sat in a chair by himself doing nothing but watching the door, got up and told us they open at 8, not before and kept repeating after 8, after 8 quite rudely. I never realised that there was a restaurant in that part of Sotogrande. Really fresh fish ( many times literally directly from the sea), delicious calamari and octopus. It's on the expensive side but it's what you expect in that location and the fact it's fish. Lovely staff, very...
