Wish I had read the review previously about lying, allergies, ingredients and horrible people. This was the truth.

After being in the restaurant business for 20 years in the UK and of Indian origin I am a good judge on this matter. The food really was terrible and mostly frozen nothing fresh here. If you don't know about genuine Indian food you will get SCAMMED.

I even asked them why dal makani is yellow where nowhere in the world is it made this way alongside many of the other dishes not being genuine. They are using a generic sauce a red one and a yellow sauce and put in the different ingredients in each one and passing it of as genuine Indian dishes. The owner is very rude and does not take criticism well when caught like a rabbit in front of headlights. She is from South Africa and believes this is how they make Indian food in South Africa. Even the waitress admitted she took down the order wrong so maybe that's why none of the dishes were genuine, trying to cover up why all the mistakes. She then said sorry over n over again while doing a peacock dance. I asked the owner what she was doing as it looked like she was taking the mik and didn't believe there was nothing wrong in giving someone a different dish to the one they ordered regardless of allergies. The owner said this is how they apologise in Spain. I'm yet to verify if this is the way spanish people apologise in this peacock dance manner.

I also agree with the other comment this restaurant would not last one day in the UK.

To recap if you dont want cheap frozen food being passed of as Indian food and then want it served by rude people and an owner who really needs a new personality implant then I SERIOUSLY AM TELLING YOU AVOID THIS PLACE. An empty restaurant at 9pm in Sotogrande should have been...
