The place itself is great inside and the waiters that served me were also nice but maybe I ordered the wrong dishes I’m not sure. I had the tuna tartar which came out brown? I don’t know if that was because of the seasoning they used but you couldn’t taste the tuna it was more like a bowl of spring onion and seeds with the smell of the sea? I then ordered spaghetti marinela. Here was my problem. The moment my starter got to the table I knew to change my main so I asked to swap it for a steak - he said sure. Moments later he said sorry it’s too late to swap. I said okay. When they cleared my starters he said are you ready for us to make your spaghetti? I said I really don’t want it are you sure I can’t change it if it’s not been cooked yet? He said sorry no. I didn’t understand? The spaghetti came and the mussels that came on the pasta were without their shell, they looked dry and wrinkly so I felt like they were not fresh? There was tiny pieces of monk fish in there but really it felt like I ate something from a Chinese in the uk. Again maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I paid for two meals that I didn’t eat. Lastly they wouldn’t let me order any of the dishes that were for two people which were kind of the better looking meals. I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t let me order these as you are allowed to take away? This took choices from me that I originally asked for / would have liked. Overall I didn’t understand their decisions...
Read moreThe restaurant has one of the best views during the day. Right in the middle of the marina. Stunning! We spotted the 3 course lunch menu which was a good price also. The service was rather slow and not very helpful. We got the words out of him. He didn’t even mention the special lunch offer. He just brought us the normal menu and went away. But then when we asked for it we finally got the lunch menu. So the first course was anchovies on puff pastry with some mixed grilled aubergine and red pepers salsa. There was a big pile of salsa which was undersalted and a few maybe 4 anchovies. Perhaps it should have been the opposite because it was an anchovies appetizer and not salsa appetizer. My wife had a goat cheese salat. The goat cheese was wonderful, but the salad under it was filled with honey, not even a dressing, just honey. Not that we don’t like honey but it was so heavy. For the main we had the grilled sea bream. And we god only half of it on each plate. The bream itself was not fresh, rather sandy in texture. The desert was an almond ice cream cake and came with ice on top. From which you can tell that was not stored properly. The lemon sorbet was way too sweet. Anyways, great potential of a restaurant. Such a shame to have bad service and...
Read moreUpadate: Had Lunch there finally and was spectscular, great menu, great service and great atmosphere. I definetly recommend it, prices are fair fir what you get and good wine selection. I will be back many times. Breakfast Review Only, this is a fantastic place on San Antonio Port with views to the bay. The place is modern and elegant, it has a small terrace also. The good thing is that It is open year round and offers a simple yet convenient breakfast until 12:30 daily. Pricing is very moderate for the breakfast menu a la carte, and has a few options but not many, it is a bar like atmosphere during the morning but an elegant space from lunch to dinner. I had a full breakfast for about 12€ came with OJ, coffee lots of bread and two eggs, very simple compared to other english breakfasts offered around. Service was a little slow considering there were not many people, but courteous. It is nice for coffee or drinks but will have to come back for lunch or dinner in the future. Overall I will come back as the atmosphere...
