I am currently in Bondi whilst writing this. Walked into Bondi and was greeted by some very warm air, and countless overlayed pop songs from a generic playlist. We were seated by a waitress to a 2 person table in the bottom left corner, we ordered our food, the person who I was with ordered a the caesar salad which was very soggy and bland and costed âŹ15 and they expected better from a restaurant that is on the harbour front, I ordered the cajun chicken wrap âŹ16 and I could have made it better at home for âŹ10 but was still decent despite the questionably moderate to high prices here, we both finished our food quick because we hadnât eaten at the time (3:30pm) we finished our food at 4pm and at the time of finishing writing this review at the time of 5:50pm our table has been cleared and it took an entirely different waitress to come onto shift to clear our table which is very impressive to ignore a table for 1 hour and 50 minutes. We didnât get any recognition of our existence from the other staff who were on shift at the time we were waiting for our table to be cleared, they seemed to be too busy loudly talking across the restaurant whilst scrolling on their phones, we didnât get any âhow was the foodâ or âcan I get you anything elseâ, even when I went to ask for the wifi I was blanked by the waitress and she said the something to do with the wifi didnât say wether it was the password or what it was called just muttered something at me which didnât even work however way it tried it, I will not be coming back or recommending here. Nevertheless the interior and decor inside the restaurant is modern and quite nice, the seats are comfy and the layout of restaurant is functional, I suspect we are a one off today but that doesnât exclude the fact that you need to pay attention to all of your tables and that the staff here are blatantly lazy. If you want to have a nice eating experience, I wouldnât take your business to anywhere on the promenade but instead definitely to a harder working small independent business a few minutes...
Read moreRight at the heart of Sant Antoni where ALL the tourists are When looking at the photos in others reviews I had a different idea
I was uncomfortable by the disrespectful behaviour of the tourists that were either drunk or recovering from last night - not so much a family environment
We went for breakfast around 11am but they were changing their menu for lunch and our meal came late Service was fine but they seem tired by the behaviour from the tourists which I would be tired as well
But as soon they realise that we aren't one of those they tried hard to treat us well
I ordered a simple but âŹ9 ham and cheese sandwich with chips called BIKINI that came burnt + Valentina te quiero smoothie: banana + kiwi + strawberry etc that was delicious
My friend had salmon poke and she said that was good
Iâve mentioned about my super smoky sandwich lol when asked if everything was fine because I couldn't eat, the taste was not good sorry. I was offered a discount of âŹ0.90 and a shoot of chupito to me and my friend but I was hungry and not willing to get intoxicated lol
I appreciate the consideration from the staff but wouldnât come back due clientele and the prices for the quality isn't fair. Nobody should be...
Read moreI came here for a coffee, and had ants in my drink. At least two. I hadnât even drink half of my coffee. I politely told my server that I had ants, just wanted a new drink to be made, and just a coffee. They were so rude telling me it was my fault that there were ants in my coffee. I barely said anything at all and they told me there was nothing they could do. With a little bit of arguing they reluctantly agreed to make me another coffee. But I was actually so shocked at how rude the service was. I have never felt more awful from a customer service experience in my life, I actually cried. Lol. I donât even care that there were bugs in my drink just which I could have been treated with a little bit of niceness. Itâs really not that difficult to make a coffee especially when itâs no oneâs fault. Itâs...
