I was so pleased to find this place! I visited Ibiza solo, and I was worried about finding a place that did vegan food. Skinny kitchen had plenty to choose from. I had the peanut butter on seeded toast with chopped banana, drizzled with a type of algavr syrup which was lush, with that I had a decaff soy coffee which was the best as they make it super frothy. I had the power bowl for breakfast which was my favourite, it consisted of home made maple toasted granola with seeds, rasins and coconut shavings, topped with coconut cream and berry compte with zest shavings and mint leaves, so much lovely flavour. I like the deal they do between 3-6 which is a wrap with sweet potato fries and a drink for 10 euros. The vegan wrap was a falafel, sweet potato, hummous and pickled veg. I also tried their vegan pizza, which is pretty much like the wrap but layed out differently on a tortilla wrap, which makes the extra euros you pay for the pizza not quite worth it as you may as well get the wrap but that being said it was lush. On my final night I had the stacked burger with a protien patty and smashed avacado with sweet potato fries, this had loads of flavour. The place itself overlooks the most wonderful view in Ibiza right at the end when you walk past all the boats. Skinny kitchen is very modern and the decor is fresh and funky. The place was spotless, staff always cleaning. All the staff were lovely and really welcoming, they seem to have so many staff for a small place, but this meant you were always seen to any never waiting. There is also free wifi access there which has a great speed and is very useful if you need to contact home. Thank you for having me, I felt instantly at ease here dining on my own. I will miss this place and the...
Read moreProbably the best food I've had in ages...not just in Ibiza! - and I'm usually someone who isn't a fan of eating out. Freshly cooked dishes with genuine, delicious ingredients. Almost everything seemed to be prepared on the spot, judging from the freshness and the tastiness! Very nutritious recipes: I was able to basically get a big part of my daily vitamin intake (which isn't easy while on vacation). I ate here almost every day during my stay in San Antoni and I would always order take-away and sit on the promenade of the port - even though the restaurants decoration/location is lovely (I just feel uncomfortable to sit at a table by myself). I was pleasantly surprised by the many vegetarian/vegan options - something that isn't easy to get in many places in Ibiza, and the generous portions (I felt like exploding every time I finished eating but in a good way!). The Shakshuka in particular was pure deliciousness and very comforting, especially after partying all night! Loved the fact that the restaurant doesn't use any plastic for takeaway - only non-bleached cardboard boxes for the food, wooden cutlery and non-bleached paper bags. Sure the dishes are a bit pricey but it is absolutely worth it when the food is of such good quality. Staff was also GREAT! Always friendly, smiling, ready to give advice even though they usually were super busy. I'm so happy I discovered this place and it was just the silver lining to a...
Read moreBeen here before many times 4 years ago and it was much more organised. Only 1 star now because even though the food was nice the service was so poor that I couldn't believe this was humanly possible. The worst I have experienced in all my visits to San Antonio over the years. We had to ask after 20 mins of being seated for someone to take our drinks order. This was after many people entering long after had already got their meals. They forgot to bring my wifes cocktail. We then had to chase somebody down to take our food order which was another 15 mins after receiving our drinks. When they did bring the food out they had forgot my sons meal, another 15 mins for his to arrive. We then ordered more drinks, they got that wrong and forgot my sons drink. We then tried to order desserts, but again the staff had disappeared, so we had to chase them down again. Again after ordering they forgot my sons dessert so had to wait another 15 mins for his to arrive. Then to top it off, we didn't realise till we got a mile away that our bill had drinks on we had not even had. These were the drinks they kept bringing to our table that we hadn't ordered. So keep on your toes in this place and check everything, it isn't cheap for a family of 4 dining and having a few rounds of drinks, especially rounds you...
