This was by far my best dining experience in Catalonia! Prior to my visit last night, the service I received as an English speaking American at other restaurants in the area was extremely poor, as if I was a burden on them and my Euro was no good. I didn't even see as much as a smile or any form of acknowledgment from any server/wait staff. Outside of my co-workers in our Barcelona office (who are amazing,) I did not feel welcome in Spain... until I visited Bianco last night.
The food was really great!! I had the Minihamburguesa's, the prosciutto pizza, and they even had Lagunitas IPA! While the food and drink were amazing, it was the service that made this place special for me. The server was extremely busy, but she was incredibly kind and patient. We used an iPhone iTranslate app to communicate some things between Catalan and English which was very helpful, but not totally necessary. This was the first place in 5 days for me that felt warm and inviting. I look forward to coming to Bianco during my next...
Read moreDelicious food! Everything we took was incredibly tasty. Big variety of pizzas. We ordered the burrata salad and the Salmon e fragola and the three award winning pizzas on the menu and… just speechless. They are beyond the standard of pizza you can find in the usual pizzas places. We went today for dinner and it was not crowded. The staff is super helpful. Our orders didn't take long to arrive to the table. Everything fresh (you can tell). I don't usually write many reviews but this place with it, with its charm and everything tremendously delicious.
So highly recommended. Thank you guys very much for everything and for all your attention!
Hope to...
