Sujor Cuina Creativa — Restaurant in Sant Joan Despí

I had a terrible experience here. The place is run by an ignorant owner, who treats his staff as a dictator. The window sills were still only half open by 20.05 hrs. People were standing outside waiting. Myself included. Though the place is said to open at 20.00 hrs. it only opened the window sills at 20.10. I was put in a corner outside view of the staff and had to come out of there to ask whether they would please take my order. The waiter said they couldn’t, as”the boss has to give permission first” . After 10 min. I could place my order: as entree ‘gambas al ajillo’ and as main course ‘rabo de toro’. Believe it or not, but within 5 mins it was served together at the same time. The gambas where cooked for hours I think, as it was impossible to remove the shells and there was hardly an inside left….The rabo de toro was good, but also the presentation of it all was uninterested and without care. The poor waiter who was trying to be friendly, could not answer my questions why all this was happening, nor could he respond to my complaints. He was clearly not allowed to speak freely, ‘because of his boss’. What an annoying experience…....

I ate here twice, the first time the food was very basic and drinks kind of pricey but it’s not far from where I was staying. The second time I booked for 7 people here because the other place next door was fully booked, and the person couldn’t find us a table when we showed up. We waited for 30 minutes while he seated a table of 4 right in front of us. He didn’t even say sorry. So, because in that area there are a few very nice places, I do not recommend this place. Un robo. Somos de Madrid y he celebrado el bautizo de mi hija en este restaurante y ha sido nefasta la experiencia además de cobrarme 30€ el menú cuando cuesta 21,90€ fin de semana. Me dijeron poner un aperitivo y 1 bebida para empezar y daba risa patatas con 6 boquerones y aceitunas con berberechos. Fuimos 27 comensales y me cobraron 875€. Lo peor de todo, sin aire acondicionado en plena ola de calor, todo el restaurante a foro completo, con personas mayores, niños y bebés. La puerta de la entrada de cristal rajada a trozos pegado con cinta, los toldos medio descolgados, en el techo se veía el falso techo porque faltaba el embellecedor del aire, nos encontramos en el suelo un espárrago triguero de hace tiempo que llevaba allí de color negro medio podrido. Tuvimos que estar pidiendo que nos sirvieran la bebida y la comida, la cerveza caliente y sim fuerza, falta de atención, profesionalidad y lealtad por parte de Jordi y encima con malas caras. Mikel un encanto muy servicial pero no es su fuerte la hostelería, había un niño recogiendo las mesas. Conclusión muy mala experiencia, jamás he visto cosa igual, además del daño moral irreversible que me ha causado en la celebración del bautizo de mi hija. La comida nada del otro mundo, tuvimos que devolver varios platos. En fin...
