I’ll preface this by saying I’m purely into authentic parties and club spaces, so I should have known I would be disappointed with any club in Ibiza, but considering DC-10 is regularly advertised as the “cool and underground” Ibiza option, I hope my review can serve as a warning for others who don’t fancy the Vegas party vibe. First in terms of the capacity, the night we went was not as crowded as what people were reporting about the opening party, but still there were several times where the garden was obnoxiously overcrowded and the terrace room was completely impossible to navigate after midnight - this is not club dancing, this is a mosh pit that Coachella festival style experience. The main room was always a bit more accessible as the less commercial DJs were playing there. There were tons of people on their phones throughout the night, sometimes filming the set, but mostly filming themselves and their friends, often turning on the light on their phone and killing the vibe in the area (the security guards would occasionally stop them from using the light but then someone else would do it 2 min later). There are no posted rules about phone use and the security says nothing about it when you enter, so it doesn’t seem that they care or would like to see this change — of course this is just an influencer destination so they have to keep the tagged pics flowing. The security were rude, pushing people out of the way forcefully, staring people down regularly, shining flashlights in people’s eyes. Security should be there to protect, not to harass and kill vibes. Even the DJs I was excited to see were disappointing — they seemed to be playing dumbed down sets and they weren’t getting great energy from the crowd so I think they probably weren’t able to reciprocate good energy. The lighting is pretty minimal with a handful of red lasers, a few red moving lights, and some accent lights - overall way too bright and not dynamic enough. The lighting around the bars is WAY too bright and the space itself is cheesy with lots of fake rock wall and tiled flooring. The terrace room and main room are directly connected through two large double doors which they never close, so you have sound bleed for about 10-15ft when you enter each of the rooms - this is insane to me. There is only one bathroom that men can access and by 2am the line was about 100 people long. Bathrooms are bright and full of security… Cocktails are 17eu - okay fine it’s normal for Ibiza. But tiny waters for 6eu - that’s criminal in a dancing and substance use environment. Maybe DC—10 was cool in the 90s. I wish I could have seen it then, but all I saw was a completely soulless money printing machine that has no respect for DJs, music...
Read moreI must admit that we all looked so much forward to the closing party and all spent our last dime on that ticket.
First a positive thing: we got in rather quickly. And that's where the positive things end.
The club was hopelessly, actually unresponsibly overcrowded - and because it soon started to rain, everybody went inside where it became so tight, that at times I was not on my feet anymore, being carried by the mass of people. Very scary, if you think a mass panic would break out.
Bit when your ticket costs over 90€ and 0,33 l of water cost 7€ (yes, no joke), you could at least expect a decent setup, right? No, even though they have Funktion One speakers, they literally hurt my ears and everyone around me had to covers their ears too.
Inside, I was shocked too. Permanently standing bass waves, several bass trap corners and general acoustics that were just terrible. Where you went, the sound characteristics constantly changed.
You could see it in the eyes of many visitors: pure disappointment. No, the atmosphere was not good, you could see how many just WANTED to make the best of it had a hard time pretending. When water is this ridiculously expensive, no one will share with you either, of course, resulting in a very weird atmosphere.
No, this was not a pleasant visit, being constantly reminded of how bad you're getting ripped off and not being provided and adequate setting was angering. Go to Berlin instead: cheaper entries, more authentic clubs, better music and sound systems that were not adjusted to pop your freaking ear drums, and most of all, authentic people that are not here because they read it in some magazine or IG post and want to tick it off their list.
I've seen so many (many many) clubs - this one ranks among the worst...

Well lets start From The beggining The tickets, The prices are ridiculous for what you’re buying, the place inside has limited space, but the management doesn’t take that space is consideration and sells waaaaaay more tickets than the place can actually fit people so the chances of you dancing to the great dj they booked are very LOW!!! The the SERVICE MY GOOOOOOD, worst security guards ever, no one was helpful or nice, they didn’t tell you you can’t take the coca-cola that you just paid 12 euros for out with you they just grab it and throw it away!!!! The people in the bar, are suuuuuper slow, sometimes they are talking while you stand in the bar for 14 minutes (I counted, because of the absurdity! They have a very small section to take care of, each bartender but they never have the sensibility of knowing who was there first, and most of the times just attending their friends who are three people behind you first! They NEVER NICE, and then the ask for tiiiiiiiips on 12 euro colas and red bulls!!! Like honestly kind of want my money back!!! Oh soooo much more!!! Like there is no comfortable places to sit! This people have arranged parties for a while!!! And there’s a 12 hour party and they don’t consider having some nice cozy comfortable places for the people who paid 75 euros for a ticket!!! And then when some of those people just give up and sit on the floor, here comes this really aggressive dude who looks like he could slap a girl for no reason, and tells everyone that they need to stand up, while being suuuuuuper agressive vibe! Suuuuuper expensive!!! Like terrible...
