We have just arrived in Ibiza for the first time. We walked to the beach and asked for a table, at 3:00 - we did not realise we had to make a reservation. There were a 3 empty tables.
The waiter said we would need to wait till 6 pm for one. So We decided to relax on the beach instead, have a swim etc. I noted that there were 2 tables reserved, but these remained unoccupied till 5:30 pm. We could have been offered a table, just letting us know we would have to vacate by 5:30, but no such courtesy was afforded to us, which I think is stupid and ridiculous.
I really found the staff extremely rude, unhelpful and the drinks over priced. It was hot and even though they refused us a table, we thought to get a drink. Initially they said they can’t, then they agreed but charged us 8 euros for 2 cans of coke, and gave us plastic cups.
I then asked if they had a number for a local taxi, and they were so flippant and rude, like they were doing me a huge favour by giving me the number. I asked if they could perhaps call and he said, I can’t call - you have to do it yourself and walked off.
I was so angry at the staff attitude and rudeness, that I am unlikely to come back to Ibiza again. The worst customer service I...
Read moreThey are very strict and unfriendly. We had a reservation at 16h00, we went there at 15h45 and they told us to wait until 16h00. As there were 6 empty tables we thought they were jocking. We could have just sit and wait until he was ready to serve us. But no. The manager was not jocking. The manager was seriously telling us to wait under the Sun and we could not sit on the (empty) table 15 minutes before time. I understand in Summer time it is difficult to find staff for the kitchen and qualified staff to serve the tables. But it was clear he wanted us to obey and accept his command. Really ridiculous. That's the problem when a restaurant has so many customers that believe they can treat you like this. It was good he did that so we just left. Of course, I will not come back again even if it was the last restaurant on earth. Good luck and keep treating...
Read moreGood food, but if you are a tourist, expect to get treated like one. In contrast to the whole Ibiza experience, this low-key restaurant will take advantage of you if it can. The head waiter charged us for £10for sunbeds for an hour of sun after telling us just take it (it felt like it was for free, but he charged us on the bill, and let me tell you, it is not the language barrier)whereas the whole day of sunbeds costs £20. Shameless. It is not about the money, obviously; it is the attitude, the mentality. A local would never ever get the same treatment. I am not going back. Honestly, there are so many options in Ibiza, not worth the experience. Also please not that we spent €150 in...
