Where ever I go I always sample the local delicacies, however on this holiday I opted for all inclusive which in hindsight wasn’t a great move, food was ok, plenty of it etc but not brilliant, same with the alcohol, plenty of it but not the best brands. As a result we only ate around a third of our meals in the hotel, and hardly drank anything other than soft drinks. Don’t think I will be repeating the all inclusive experience again anytime soon. Anyway, enough about that. What a breath of fresh air to find this welcoming little place offering nice home cooked British food, really enjoyed it, great Sunday roast too, would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a taste of old Blighty or a nice alternative to the mass produced all inclusive fodder, it’s the oldest British pub on the...

I had the wrong pie and no peas when I eventually got it but didn’t complain as starving. Limited menu and not cheap, couldn’t understand how food took so long when they were very few there and not eating just drinking. 2 of us went back a couple of nights later. Got drinks, ordered food after our first drink, two identical meals. An hour and half later still no food so asked for a refund. So disappointing, great potential but service massively let’s it down. Was hoping for a Sunday roast but won’t be giving them the benefit of the...

Staff are always smiling and very pleasant, attentive and speak English very well. We decided to call in a few nights later to have tea / dinner. We both ordered curries and enjoyed every single mouthful. I absolutely hate bars and pubs, but this place is something else. (Maybe it's just the time of year). It's definitely a...
