Café La Mar — Restaurant in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar

Would rate zero if I could , Waited half an hour for 4 cocktails due to a electrical fault , once arriving the waiter then dropped the tray which resulted in red liquid drenching our tops and trainers , I understand accidents happen but when asking for 1 of the drinks free as compensation the manager was rude , not considerate in any way of the incident that had just happen and continued to try and charge us full price despite us being in our right to request compensation for our clothing. He then offered us 40 cent off the bill and after back and forth agreed to the one drink free, the fact we even had to ask for this made for one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on holiday , there are many beautiful bars on this strip of beach and I would reccomend any other bar...

Stopped in for lunch as a party of 3. The food is great. It all tastes awesome. From the Tapas to the sandwiches. I really loved the nachos. My girlfriend really liked the pasta. The smoothies are sugar bombs, don't taste natural, more like candy, but that actually made them awesome. The view of the beach is blocked by all the sunchairs so that is why I took one star off.

The service was okay. Not as tentative as they could be. They could also try to smile a bit more. The servers brining the food are a bit confused sometimes. All in all, it could use a some fine tuning on the service side.

It was a nice last meal before we headed back home. We'll most likely drop by again...

We came here twice and both times we all left very disappointed with the service. We were a party of 5 and they always made us feel like we were in the way! They kept telling us we couldn’t put a chair on the end and moving us three times on the second visit. Not very accommodating so if you’re a group of 5 or more it’s not well organised. The sangria was nice but always took a while. We always had to wait a while for drinks and food and some drinks never even turned up so I wouldn’t recommend. We also ordered a chicken Caesar salad for it to arrive with literally just lettuce and chicken no other ingredients like croutons or anything! Only good thing...
