We spent 12 days in the hotel and our experience was overall very good. There are some minor downsides in the text and especially at the end of my review. Location of it is excellent. I consider Cala Millor as one of the best locations on the island (maybe the best one). In the covid times there were enough people but not too much. So we were happy that we didn't choose Arenal or Magaluf that were strongly overpopulated by tourists even in the covid times. So Cala Millor - suggested. The hotel is quite in the middle of the beach and it can't be closer to the sea. Just behind the hotel, there is promenade with small shops and traders. The beach is great, there is nice sand, we had 8 days with calm sea and 3 days with waves. The water is clean and even with the waves you can see through it. Also there are great attractions not far from the Cala Millor (like caves, cap, safari and so on). Parking around the hotel was free and always available (not sure what is the situation in full season without covid). It is great that hotel has pool just next to the beach so you can lay by the pool and visit the sea via small gate in the pool glass fence. There are only a few hotels with such options in the area. There was always enough deckchairs. We were satisfied with breakfast and dinners as well. You can always choose something tasty for you and dinner options was changed daily. Small downsides: - you can't tap the coffee by yourself but there is waitress which will ask you and bring it (it might be because of covid rules). - pancakes probably always contained cinnamon which is not everyones favourite spice. - if you want drink during the dinner you have to pay it (at least with half board). But this is pretty usual - no downside. Rooms are pretty nice, bathroom as well. We had quite spacious balcony. Downsides: - air condition is old and the control of it is not from the best. The air condition just do cooling and you can choose speed of the fan or turn it off. I doubt it somehow reacts on the configured temperature. But it somehow fulfils its purpose. - the bed is little bit harder (as you can see in other reviews). We didn't mind much, I sleep always well after whole-day swimming, walking etc. - perhaps there comes at least 3 different garbage companies, usually during night :-D . But it wasn't disturbing much if you sleep with closed balkony. People in the reception are helpful, especially two man who helped us with lot of stuff after our arrival ! Most of them speak english. What disappointed us? - There is no animation or even music by the pool, nor in the evening. It would improve the atmosphere so easily if they just play some nice summer hits by the pool. Also they have nice sitting area around and above the pool, with bar just next to it. But usually, it was quite empty because other hotels/bars play music or have some night show so the people go rather there. Again, just play music (a sometimes little bit louder) would really help there. - When we wanted to print two boarding passes in the reception, it cost 1€ for each which seemed to us pretty ridiculous. It is usually free in hotel. Overall we quite suggest the hotel.

Was wurde gemacht? Richtig nichts…

We arrived late Monday 20th August after travelling for around 12 hours. As we entered the hotel & checked in the lady working wasnt very welcoming & told us to send our holiday voucher to them by email . No offer of a cold drink or anything! Ive never heard of this before & thought they should have all our details! As we got into our room it was clear the A/C wasn't working which the reception person lady failed to mention. There is also no fridge in the room, its 1.20am at the moment and it is 26c and impossible to sleep. We have not been offered a fan or a room swap we are on the 4th floor & apparently none of the A/C is working on the 4th or 5th floor. We was offered €100 bar credit, free wifi which we dont need & beach towels & 2 free lunches. We work hard all year to be afford this holiday & it just feels ruined by not having a fan or any A/C i wouldnt of booked this hotel had i known the A/C wasnt working. The food was really bad I didnt eat breakfast once the bacon was 80% fat 20% meat, no real sausages just frankfurters & the lunch was inedible. The meat was tough as an old pair of socks & dry & a real lack of choice. If you are a smoker there is no smoking area at all in the hotel you have to go outside the front of the hotel. The drinks are also watered down & they use all the cheap spirits & charge premium prices. This hotel seems to be catered to German & Spanish people only & it seems they have a problem with English people which I could tell by the staff’s attitude towards me & my partner. On our last day we asked if we could keep the room longer to shower etc as we had a late flight which we was told No. I thought this could be the least they could do seeing as they stuck us in a room with no AC the entire stay. I would definitely not come back to this place & for me this gets a 2 out of...

I came to this hotel last August & it was ok, didn’t really speak to the staff much , just kept myself to myself , so decided to return this year with friends. First of all if your English , don’t bother going here , we was made to feel so uncomfortable by staff and other guests looking down there nose at us, the restaurant staff, pool bar staff and most of the receptionists just wasn’t interested in anything we asked about etc. There was one lovely receptionist , didn’t catch her name but she was super lovely and helped us a lot with excursion info and advising us what to do etc. I think the maids are the kindest staff in this hotel! |It’s not child friendly at all, barely any other children here outside of our group and it seemed everyone in the pool was moaning an complaining about our children jumping in the pool ( I asked the lifeguard if they was allowed to do this and she said yes it’s fine) so we let them continue, but even the children felt uncomfortable to have fun because of people looking at them and giving dirty looks ! I did say something to them but they couldn’t understand me so we left it at that . |We was without water on 2 separate occasions whilst trying to shower which also meant no drinks in the restaurant . When we went to ask at reception , they just shrugged us off and said 1 hour . If there fed up of people asking maybe put a notice up to make us aware! |We spoke with a couple of other guests who also said the same things and would not be returning again! |The room I had last year was a bit more updated , this year the room was very old fashioned , small & claustrophobic.|After this visit I will not be returning which is a shame as the location is fantastic but needs some work to its customer service ( to...
