La locanda — Restaurant in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar

We don’t really understand how this restaurant has so many good reviews :D When we arrived they told us we will have to wait around 30-45mins for the food while the inside of the restaurant was almost empty, we were absolutely fine with that and wanted to drink some cocktails while we were waiting. We waited nearly 20 mins to get even the menu and they didn’t give us a drink menu. After around 30-35 mins we got our aperol spritz and it tasted like they put too much soda water into them. They were sour and tasteless. It was the worst cocktail we ever had, I couldn’t drink the half of it :D We ordered 2 salmon rigatonis and the quality was terrible. The “creamy” cognac sauce was too runny, almost like a soup. We got some super small salmon chunks in it and I think the salmon wasn’t fresh or it wasn’t stored properly. Wir waren am 16.04.23 hier Abends Essen. Da noch nicht so viel los war in der Zeit bzw. vermutlich die meisten Touristen in ihren Hotels ihr Halbpension Buffet Essen "genießen" durften, gab es keine Probleme auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch zu bekommen. Wir waren 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (7 und 2 Jahre). Die Dame die uns bediente war sehr freundlich und gab uns einen schönen Tisch. Innen war es wie beim typischen Italiener eingerichtet, karierte Tischdecken etc. Wir bestellten offenen Rotwein a la casa der echt super geschmeckt hat. Für die Kinder gab es Spaghetti und Rigatoni jeweils mit Bolognese. Meine Frau nahm von der uns nett präsentierten Tageskarte Tagiatelle in Pesto Gorgonzola Sauce und ich bekam Spaghetti Carbonara. Vorher gab es noch eine Bruschetta die schön würzig abgestimmt war.

Am Ende waren alle Teller leer. Es hat jedem sehr gut geschmeckt.

Wir wollten schon fast zahlen als uns die Servicedame dann nochmal charmant auf die ganzen Postres aufmerksam gemacht hat. Daraufhin gab es eine Kugel Eis für den Sohnemann, Ein Schokoladensoufflé mit Eis und frisch aufgeschlagener Sahne für meine Frau und ich gönnte mir noch ein Tiramisu. Das Töchterchen schlummerte bereits satt und zufrieden im Kinderwagen. 🥰

Zum Abschluss gab es aufs Haus noch ein Degestiv, wobei wir die Auswahl hatten und wir individuelle "Kurze" uns aussuchen konnten. Limoncello für meine Frau, Grappa für mich und der Junior bekam eine Kindgerechte Alternative (was er super fand).

Die Rechnung war dann mit 64,50€ auch mehr als völlig in Ordnung meiner Meinung nach, ich habe gerne ein solides Trinkgeld gegeben.

Da wir öfter im Osten Mallorcas sind, werden wir hier definitiv unseren nächsten Besuch einplanen. Es gibt noch vieles auf der Speisekarte das es zu erkunden gilt. Wir freuen...

Visited with the intention of having specifically pizza and Italian food. Did not disappoint after choosing this place after reading other reviews. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Was not the best pizza I've ever had in my life but was deffo right up there somewhere near the top. Antipasti starter was very nice with a good selection of meats, cheese n nibbles. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anybody that wanted a nice pizza with a good atmosphere....
