Dito - Breakfast Cafeteria Sa Coma — Restaurant in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar

F O O D: Nicely presented, but the waffles were too doughy and some of the fruit didn’t look very fresh. The yoghurt was nice, though.

D R I N K S: The berry smoothie wasn’t good – too much yoghurt overpowered the flavour. The matcha latte tasted mostly like warm milk with just a hint of matcha, and the cappuccino was quite weak. The fresh orange juice, however, was really good!

S E R V I C E: Unfortunately, the service was a major letdown – mostly due to one staff member. The older woman working there was rude and unfriendly, which is not what you’d expect from someone in hospitality. She got our order wrong (we specifically asked for waffles with fruit and sauce on the side for our kids) and instead we received a full waffle with extra sauce and fruit on the side. With two young kids (2 and 5 years old) who had already waited a while, it was understandably frustrating. Rather than apologize, she became quite hostile. Thankfully, the owner – a very sweet and professional woman – apologized on her behalf and made sure the order was corrected.

Still, the experience was soured by the older woman’s attitude – including throwing us dirty looks. At one point, the owner even had to tell her and another younger staff member to quiet down because they were arguing.

Also, please keep in mind that your guests may understand the languages you speak. I speak French, German, English and understand Spanish – and I overheard the older staff member speaking negatively about another customer outside. That’s not okay.

Overall: The space is nice, and some menu items have potential, but the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by poor service. I hope this is taken as constructive feedback – treating your guests with kindness, respect and professionalism should...

Dito Breakfast Cafeteria is easily one of the best breakfast spots in Mallorca. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. It’s the kind of place you’ll find yourself wanting to return to again...

Not knowing anything at all about Majorca, I decided to look at nice places to eat prior to our trip to Sa Coma. I stumbled upon Dito and after a quick browse of their Instagram page I was looking forward to visiting the restaurant.

However, I was no way prepared for the outpouring of love and kindness that was to meet us.

Diana (the owner) has put every bit of love, energy and care she has into this beautiful little place. You only have to read the first page of the menu to understand it.

Everything is FRESH, she even makes her own rolls, croissants and yogurt from scratch! I could get enough of the yogurt! Her motto is all about quality food and love. Just spend 5 minutes in her amazing cafe to see (and taste) it for yourself.

Now let me tell you about the atmosphere... my goodness... who knew a cafe could have such a buzz about it. Even the regular customers greet you with warmth and friendliness. We loved it so much we scraped our hotel breakfast and visited Dito 3 times in 5 days!

I have honestly never come across a better Cafe than Dito in any country and something tells me that I never will.
