I don't like doing this type of review, but it has been a few nights since we arrived in Sa Coma and there was not once that we had a peaceful bedtime because of this place and also, first day we arrived, we went for lunch in this place which is beside our hotel, we looked at the menu and it looked great, but when the waiter said there was no chicken nuggets for the kids I was surprised! My child is a fussy eater and only eats chicken nuggets and chips, the waiter was very sorry and tried to offer other options but she was so grumpy that not even the chips she wanted to eat. That's not their fault, but man, not having stock of something so simple? I got for myself Tex Mex Tacos, but the tortilla wasn't nice and it was supposed to have lettuce and guacamole. There wasn't either, instead they put slices of Avocado on top of it 🤣 I ate it, but it wasn't that hot as of being cooked and there wasn't much taste of Tex Mex. My other child got a Bolognese, but didn't like it. My husband ate it and liked, but he was very hungry as well so hahaha 😆 I asked for a Pina Colada, the waiter went to do the cocktail, he seemed to be on his own there juggling his tasks as well, so the drink wasn't great. At the end when he brought the bill he said he knocked off a coca cola from our bill to apologise for the nuggets situation. But the cherry on top of the cake was that then at night, and the following nights, there was music every night, repeatedly, always same songs as well hahaha so at the beginning I didn't know they were the loudest in the block till tonight when I went down to see the source of the noise that keeps the kids and parents awake and I wasn't surprised when I saw it was them! However, I was surprised because it was entertainment just for a few people, I was expecting it to be packed because I my mind for them to be annoying the whole block, should be worth it, but it wasn't! Theres no respect, as someone else put in a review, they are extremely loud, " which prohibits a good rest for hundreds of people in two nearby hotels. It doesn’t have to be that loud!! Especially after 23 o’clock. Very many families with children cannot have a proper sleep because of that bar. " I second that review, not understanding how this is allowed! Also, thinking of the residents, if there's any in the area, who have to cope with such nonsense all year round lol. Anyway, I hope they improve the food and keep the noise down, I don't wish anyone bad, but to succeed, it's a great spot if you use it wisely. Best of luck and I hope when we come back again sometime...
Read moreIf you're looking for a lively, entertaining spot in Sa Coma, Britannia Pub is definitely worth checking out. This place is all about fun, with live music and entertainment that spans genres from Motown to disco, making sure there’s something for everyone looking to dance and enjoy a good time. The night we visited was 80’s Movies Night, and it didn’t disappoint. The highlight of the evening was the incredible dance routines, with performances from iconic movies like Ghostbusters, Thriller, and The Mask. The energy was contagious, and the dancing—particularly the Thriller routine—was truly standout. It was one of those moments that got the whole crowd involved, making for an unforgettable night. That said, it's important to note that Britannia Pub isn’t for everyone. If you're after a more traditional, laid-back vibe, this place might not...
Read moreUsed to be my favourite place to go because of the atmosphere and bingo until I was served a raw chicken kebab. I’m not one to complain but I of course sent it back and didn’t get an apology (whatever). Had to then send it back a second time as it was still very pink, still no apology. Then on the third time, half was still not cooked through so I only ended up eating half the kebab and half of the cold chips. I had never sent a meal back in my life so I was really disappointed and then we received the full bill. I told them I am not paying full price for a meal I had to send back twice and could only eat half of and their response was to LAUGH in mine and my partner’s face. Incredibly rude staff. Wish I got pictures because the chicken I was served first time round literally had not been cooked yet it was...
