A good restaurant is always personal. I’m Dutch, and I believe we have a lot of quality restaurants. I have a friend who lives in Ibiza, so when I was looking for a good place to eat, I asked them. Of course, you never really know if your friend is as picky as you are—but in this case, I think I asked the right person.
For me, the people running a place are just as important as the food (I’ll get to that later). First impressions were great: all the staff said hello or made us feel welcome in some way. We took our seats, and then the (I believe) owner came by to personally greet us. We asked about the champagne, and he took a few minutes to tell us everything he knew about it. His knowledge and enthusiasm made me want to drink it even more.
After finishing the first bottle, we tried the second one—he couldn’t choose between two, so we just went for both. Then the food arrived. I’ve been to several restaurants in Ibiza. Some things were plain bland. E.g. the deep fried sweet potato chips served with some dishes tasted just above cardboard. Additional downers were: Courses arrived at wildly varied timing, we all ate resp. courses at different times. Food was consistently not hot enough, sometimes lukewarm, and plates weren't warmed, which worsened matter. We had a table outside and there were only two heaters for all of us, one of which, the bigger one, constantly went off. One of us caught a cold. Don't get me wrong: none of the food was bad. But for these prices we expected a different level of quality...

CasaPiedra is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience you carry with you long after you leave. From the moment we first arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, genuine smiles, and incredible hospitality. Over time, we didn’t just become regular guests — we became friends with the staff and the owners. Special thanks to Nando, who is incredibly kind and always makes us feel so welcome.
The food is simply outstanding: fresh, creative, and full of flavor. Every dish is prepared with love and care, beautifully presented, and paired with an excellent selection of wines. My girlfriend Sandra has been coming here for years, and now I understand why — it’s the perfect place for a romantic dinner, a relaxed evening with friends, or a special occasion.
What truly sets CasaPiedra apart is the atmosphere. It’s a place where you instantly feel at home, surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do. We can’t recommend it highly enough — thank you, CasaPiedra, for all the unforgettable memories. We’re already looking forward to...
