Solea Ibiza — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

If I could give no stars at all I would have done it. I went there with my sister today and they didn’t like us it was very obvious as anything we tried to order was not available. The table behind us had a jug of cocktail but they told us they don’t have any. Tried to order the sorbets but they said the person that makes it is on break (really?! It doesn’t even make sense). Then I asked if they had a cheese platter and she said yes but we ended up with a toasted sandwich… Also I don’t speak Spanish and they are super arrogant and keep trying to talk in Spanish! Don’t open a restaurant in a touristic place if you don’t like tourists that make your restaurant survive.

If you read the bad reviews of this place and the answers of the owner, you’ll have a good picture of how arrogant and unfriendly they are.

Had 2 great evenings here last week, the first booked on a whim after listening to the violinist playing one evening from close by. Is run by a really great team, serves fantastic food, there choices of tapas-y dishes as well as fresh local options too, and great service (thanks for looking after us Axel 😊) and buzzy atmosphere. All very fairly priced too.

Had such a lovely evening we also returned for a special occasion and the team made us feel very special which was really appreciated,

You’re not rushed at all and that it’s right on the seafront, add in some fantastic music put on (the singer / musician on Friday was also fantastic!! 👏👏👏)

Would definitely recommend for evening dining and there were also some tables just getting drinks too.

As others have said, the nicest restaurant in the area IMO, good luck to the team for the rest...

Awful rude waiters, very aggressive how they speak to you and made our small group of four feel very unwelcome.

Thank you for your response however this is completely incorrect. We totally agree and expect not to jump in front of other guests.

We walked into the restaurant and asked the waiter if there was an available table as a few where empty. The waiter said he would speak with the manager, came back and then directed us to a table back from where we wanted to sit which we were fine about.

However, for you to then come up and loudly ask us to stand up and leave in front of other guests was completely unacceptable. If the waiters don’t talk to each other to understand who is first in a queue this is not the guests fault. We were told to sit down and provided with menus. So as stated, your response is...
