Atzaro Beach, Cala Nova: A Rustic Paradise with Room for Improvement Atzaro Beach, located on the picturesque Cala Nova beach in the north-eastern part of Ibiza, is a delightful blend of rustic boho chic and contemporary beach dining. Perched on a small cliff overlooking the pristine waters of the Mediterranean, Atzaro's open terrace restaurant offers a relaxed ambience that is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the stunning scenery. Arriving at Atzaro can be a bit of a challenge, as parking on the road is scarce. However, there is a dustbowl carpark available, making it more convenient for patrons. The restaurant's appearance reflects the laid-back atmosphere of Ibiza, with its ample shading, spacious layout, and a mix of woods and white décor. Upon entering Atzaro Beach, you'll find that the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. With an eclectic mix of patrons, from residents to foreigners, the clientele is diverse and adds a layer of charm to the overall experience. It's worth noting that some visitors seemed more interested in the who's who of the scene than the food or the setting, but this didn't detract from the overall atmosphere. The menu at Atzaro Cala Nova caters to a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten-free options. While offering a typical Spanish Mediterranean menu with pastas, burgers, salads, and paellas, our group of eight found the offerings a tad uninspiring, choosing to forego dessert in favor of coffee. The dessert menu, however, did have some interesting options that may entice other patrons. The drink list boasted an impressive range of cocktails, which seemed to be a highlight of the establishment. Staffing levels were adequate, and the hostesses at Atzaro Beach were friendly and attentive. The overall experience, while enjoyable, was somewhat marred by the high price tag. The stunning setting and decor are definitely the main attractions, but the food and menu offerings could use some improvement. Our overall impression was that Atzaro Beach Cala Nova is a beautiful spot to visit if you find yourself in Ibiza, but perhaps not a place you'll want to frequent too often. The initial "wow" factor of being in a paradise-like setting is a definite draw, but the lack of excitement in the menu and the expensive prices may deter some from making this a regular dining spot. Nonetheless, it's certainly worth a visit to soak in the sun and embrace the unique atmosphere that Atzaro Beach has to offer.

We spent a very nice day in this beach bar. Cala Nova beach itself is very beautiful, sandy, surrounded by greenery. The water was clean and extremely pleasant for swimming. Paid parking is about 150 meters from the beach. As for the beach bar Atzaro, our impression is excellent. We made a reservation in advance, which I recommend to everyone, considering that the beach bar was full all day. There were two of us and we paid 150 euros per person, but those 150 euros per person included towels, water and 125 euros of credit that you can use for food and drinks throughout the day. In fact, we paid 25 euros each for a sunbed with an umbrella, water and towels, while we could drink and eat for the rest of money. Everything we tried was very delicious, and I strongly recommend to try couple of their starters, such as prawn tartare, baby squids and watermelon/fig salad. The staff is very friendly, and everything is very clean and tidy. When you go for a swim, there are also safes at your disposal where you can leave your valuables. I would recommend it for a quality and peaceful day by the water.

We spent a wonderful day at Atzaró Beach Cala Nova, and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is absolutely stunning—perched on a gentle cliff just 20 meters from one of Ibiza’s most beautiful beaches, with breathtaking views of the turquoise sea. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their attentive and friendly service throughout the day. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, perfectly complementing the coastal setting. Whether you're looking to enjoy a long, leisurely lunch with a view or simply unwind in a peaceful beachside environment, Atzaró Beach Cala Nova delivers on every level. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, this place does not do it's location justice.

We arrived, waited 10minutes to be seated, despite having a reservation. Once seated we were asked for a second time for the name the reservation was under, which we were then told we didn't have a reservation, we showed staff the reservation confirmation on our phones and they then proceeded to talk amongst themselves on headsets in front of us for 5mins before saying it was ok for us to stay.

Immediately made us feel unwelcome and felt staff were rude as would cut us off mid conversation to speak to each other on headsets.

We waited another 10mins for our orders to be taken, staff clueless when asked simple questions about menu e.g. what is the fish of the day? Once we ordered, it took nearly an hour for food to arrive.

Food was a disaster. Paella rice was under cooked, fish was over cooked, chewy and clearly from frozen. Overall the dish was bland and lacklustre - very disappointing as it was €28 per person.

Ravioli pasta was undercooked and sauce bland.

We ate about 50% of the food before leaving it.

When asked if we enjoyed the meal at the end, manager became angry at our feedback and suggested we regularly did this at restaurants? We were offered no money off, free drinks or anything in return for the poor meal or poor overall service.

We offered to may 70% of the meal to which manager became angry again and refused. Then began a bidding war between what we wanted to pay and what he felt we should pay.

Looking around the restaurant, we weren't the only people having issues with the food and service - lots of unhappy faces and food left on plates!

Overall, avoid this place. Total rip off price wise vs service and food offered. Go somewhere else if you want some nice food and a beach view - plenty of other better places...

We went here for lunch with our two children (11 and 5 years old) and had booked online for 2:30 pm. Upon arrival, we were immediately blown away by the stunning view – absolutely breathtaking – and the beautifully designed place.

We were first seated at a round outdoor table, but the waiter quickly noticed it was wobbly. He tried to fix it, but since the tabletop was loose, he kindly moved us to another lovely table. Very attentive and friendly service! They were also really accommodating towards our eldest daughter who has a gluten allergy, which we greatly appreciated.

For food, we ordered starters and mains. The starters were tasty, though the prawn tartare was a little on the bland side. However, the turbot and the paella we had for the main course were absolutely excellent – perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and highly recommended.

The only odd thing was the drinks pricing: we paid nearly €28 for just 2 Fanta Lemon and 1 glass of sangria, which felt extremely overpriced. Strangely enough, a whole bottle of Whispering Angel rosé was only €55, which made the soft drink and sangria pricing even harder to understand.

Conclusion: A stunning restaurant with incredible views, friendly staff, and delicious dishes. The food is great value for money, but the drinks menu is puzzlingly priced. Overall, a very pleasant experience and definitely a place we...
