Restaurant Celler Can Pere — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

This review is for Es Celleret - the sister restaurant to Celler C'an Père. This restaurant needs to fire all of its useless, slow and really quite stupid waiting staff and start again (unless they're intentionally hiring from the local special school). It took 20 minutes to get the bottle of house wine we ordered, and even then the waiter went off for a few minutes in search of a corkscrew afterwards. The same waiter (tall, shaven headed) did not seem to have a clue who ordered what and would sporadically offer any dish he picked up from the kitchen to the nearest table, eventually finding its rightful owner. He also thought it a great idea to place new dishes on top of not-quite-finished ones, rather than taking them away. When we asked another waitress for the bill, who seemed equally dozy, it still hadn't materialised after 10 minutes and we were very tempted to walk off. Instead we went up to the bar and had to wait another 5 minutes for the bill to be produced. Did they even want our money? The food, however, was fine, hence the two stars - it's a shame that hardworking kitchen staff are let down by this bunch of...

I had mero a la plancha recommended by the waiter, and we also had calamar a la plancha, which was actually good. The fish was very disappointing, tbh especially for the price.. 35 euros for that fish? and it was dry ..after our visit, we realised we were the only guests in this very big restaurant while outside the neighbouring restaurants all had a lot more guests. It was clear why... This place used to be a sure bet....

Un restaurante clásico de Santa eulalia, fácil de localizar en el centro del pueblo y ubicado en una calle llena de locales de comida de todo tipo. Fuimos a comer el menú de medio día, antes lo tenían a 17€ con bebida y hoy estaba a 22€ sin bebida. El local está bonito, limpio y con manteles etc.. El servicio es excelente y los dos camareros que nos atendieron muy profesionales, atentos y educados ( sin duda lo mejor del local) En cambio la comida, al menos la del menú de 22€, las croquetas estaban buenas pero algo pastosas y pesadas. La carne tierna pero muy muy muy salada, extremadamente salada y los postres sin decoración, sin sabor, sin nada. La conclusión es que comimos un menú muy básico con dos bebidas por personas por 58€, precio muy exagerado para la calidad y la elaboracion de un local que cobra estos precios. Totalmente decepcionados y mi pareja con ardor y pesadez toda la tarde. Mirando el precio de la carta si menú, necesitas al menos 50/60€ por persona para comer algo decente y en mi criterio no los merece. Lo siento pero no lo puedo recomendar ni volveré, hay muchas mejores opciones tanto de precio como de calidad. PD : ahora entiendo por que es el único local vacío de la zona. Espero que mejoren la calidad, por que me sentí bastante estafado por lo...
