Restaurante Margherita Santa Eulalia — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

Just had a great meal at Restaurante Margherita. In all of the years that my wife & I have been visiting Ibiza (30+ for me; and 50+ for my wife) then this is the first meal that we have had at the Restaurante Margherita - it will certainly not be the last! Meal, service, atmosphere all great. I must, however, offer an apology to the head waitress - when she say that one of our party had eaten little of her chosen main of Arrabiata then I suggested that it should come with a 'health' warning. I think it was mis-understood as I wasn't trying to be critical mire suggesting that, if not already noted on menu, then people should be made aware of how spicy this meal is (I have had plenty of Arrabiata over the years and none as good/ spicy as this one is) but, unfortunately our companion wasn't expecting something this spicy - I would have eaten myself but I am flying home within a few hours of the meal. Looking forward to eating here...

We were a group of 11 and we were made to feel very welcome as they gladly moved tables together to accommodate us. We had pizzas mostly with a few tapas and the food was excellent with everyone from a 4 year old to 40 year old saying how good it was. The tapas selection wasn't massive but then there were a lot of tapas only restaurants alongside. My own pizza Serrano was perfectly cooked and delicious. We had bread and olives to start and the alioli was to die for, so strong it blew out heads off but was soooo delicious everything got dipped into it....

I went there to have dinner with my fiance; they took around 10 minutes for them to even give us a menu to look at, about 10 more to get us drinks, and almost an hour later, the pizzas arrived burnt pitch-black on the bottom, and singed on the top. We asked for them to be changed, and they responded with a surly attitude, taking the dishes out of our hands without a word. When the pizzas finally arrived, less burnt this time, they were very cheaply made and mediocre. We definitely do not recommend you go there; any other pizzeria in town is a lot better...
