Maybe we just haven’t been lucky, the place looked nice though and a lot of (local) people seemed to come there. But I feel we need to share our experience here, not to disparage someone, but to hopefully make them think about the incident and do better the next time. For the benefit of everyone.

Because what happened was just inappropriate and not professional. We ordered a mixed fish plate. The fish was not well cooked. We told them and had to give the plate back. 3 different waiters were serving us at that point because of the language barrier. Which is fine, I also would like to be able to express myself in their language but unfortunately I can’t. But this was beyond language barrier. It was their body language and simply the attitude they have been showing us about our complaint. After asking for the bill the waitress came with it - the fish was on it. We told her we can’t pay for it we had to give it back. That’s when she came back with the bill and threw a simple „sorry“ at us while leaving quickly again. Buenos días mi queja no es por el cobro del café, es por el servicio. Ya que lo pague. Mi queja es por el servicio. Hace unos meses fui y tardaron muchísimo en atenderme y no volví. Hasta ayer domingo 20/10. Era cliente habitual, Paco un encanto de hombre! Pero ayer pedimos la comanda. Y en la misma sugerí el café con sacarina ya que no tomo a azúcar por temas de salud. Lo trajeron con azúcar no pasa nada un despiste. Trajeron la tostada y le pedí la sacarina y me dijo enseguida. Fue a la mesa de al lado y le dije por favor la sacarina y me dijo si perdón ahora mismo. Mi familiar se acabó su tostada y café y el mío seguia ahí sin tocar ya que seguía sin sacarina. Le pedí la cuenta y le dije aún sigo esperando la sacarina. Y me trajo la cuenta con la sacarina. Una falta de respeto. Fui a quejarme y se a quien me queje y quién me fue a rebatir. No debo levantarme y ir a pedir yo cuando estoy pagando ese servicio de atención. Ya lo pedí en reiteradas ocasiones. Si está la terraza llena no es mi culpa hasta pasado 5 veces por mi lado y no me lo has traído. Si no que me hagan pedir en la barra como en muchos lugares. Cómo dije a la modificación del ticket yo voy a pagar el café aunque no lo beba pero el servicio no ha Sido el adecuado no podemos echar la culpa la terraza está llena ya que lo pedí 3 veces y paso 4 más por mi lado y no se acordó de mi hasta el momento de la cuenta...... La comida y resto nunca jamás he tenido queja las cosas claras, siempre todo muy bueno. Pero con el de marzo y ayer tuve suficiente. Pero la de ayer sinceramente no fue ni lo correcto ni adecuado y no tengo que levantar cuando me están ofreciendo un Servicio que ya he pedido en varias ocasiones, si no que me hagan pedir en la barra y me lo sirven en mesa como he comentado antes que hacen en otro lugares por la afluencia de...

Great value cafe restaurant bar. The dish of the day can't be beaten although my favourite is the chicken mayo roll, which is more like half a French loaf filled with grilled chicken, lettuce, cheese and mayo and costs less than five euro. In fact with a pint of beer you still get change from a ten. Popular with locals even more than tourists which is always a good sign. Haven't done evenings there. But loads of lunchtimes. Pleasant and polite staff and great value. Definitely worth...
