My recent experience at Schiano was a mixed one. While the food and ingredients were of high quality, I was disappointed by the treatment we received from one of the waiters. Before we could order dessert, this waiter asked us to leave the restaurant because they had a reservation. This was an unacceptable and disappointing experience. A simple statement that the table was reserved and we would need to finish our meal in a timely manner would have been more appropriate than a sudden request to leave. Despite the poor treatment we received from this waiter, I must acknowledge that the food at Schiano was delicious and of high quality and the rest of the waiters and waitresses seemed professional.

The restaurant has a cosy interior with a lot of wines decorating the walls. The service is attentive and efficient. Unfortunately we were not blown away by the food. The mushroom croquetas are tasty but tiny, not even half a bite each. The spinach salad is very simple, only topped up with a few grapes and almond flakes - dressing was good (price too high). Both pasta dishes were mediocre, the gnocchi with blue cheese and nuts lacked of taste NO strong cheese taste and the slightly overcooked gnocchi were swimming in sauce. The amatricana sauce was straight canned tomatoe sauce with a few chunnks of guanchiale and the pecorino cheese was missing. The highlight was definitely the Pistacho coulant. Not going to come back...

I was absolutely satisfied with my visit to this Italian restaurant. The food was fantastic – we ordered Carbonara, homemade Fettuccine, and Amatriciana. The Fettuccine in particular were freshly made, perfectly cooked, and incredibly tasty.

The wine was excellent and paired beautifully with the meal. We finished with a delicious dessert that rounded off the evening perfectly.

The staff were very kind, welcoming, and attentive – we felt at home right away. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be...
