Sense Ibiza — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

Another “fancy” place with huge lack of service.. I joined the place on my own for a soda. I took place and after two minutes a waiter came to me to close the umbrella above me forcing me to move table and ten minutes after went to open it again.. the “mystery of faith”… lol after placing the order (a soda) the waitress asked me if I wanted “just” a soda, like if I was asking something wired looking at me with an unsatisfied expression. The order arrived and the waitress left the bottle without any eye contact or say nothing, I guess she was to busy to go back and join the interesting conversation the 5 of them were having in front of the venue main entrance. Yes.. because apparently waiters in ibiza go to work to have a chat with colleagues rather been focused on service .. I light up a cigarette and nobody from the staff really cared if I need an ashtray. The tables around me were unattended with empty glasses showing the lack of care of the waiting staff. I guess if I have ordered a bottle of champagne the attention was different,...

This place was standing out among the others nearby with its cozy and stylish terrace so we decided to went in. The food was very good and decent quality, shrimps tempura were homemade, though in almost every other place it is the same frozen precooked shrimps from one famous provider on the island... anyways, tom yum soup was good, but too little portion; i tried 2 cocktails and enjoyed them a lot! Smoothie was also delicious. They had taken a good care of us as well. And yes, the garlic bread what they are offering as "bread with alioli" is actually a very tasty bread but 9,5€ price is indeed surprising. You should be careful about it. The strange thing was the toilet: it is somewhere in the backside storage area and it is shared with the other restaurant... overall we were very happy with our lunch though it was...

They basically kicked us out without asking it to our faces! We came to sit here to shelter a bit from the rain, it looked like a really pretty and nice place. We ordered 2 soft drinks & a plate of patatas alioli (also not exactly the cheapest order…). They came to ask us multiple times if we wanted to order anything else (our drinks were still halfway full), to which we replied no. They made us feel unwelcome, like we didn’t spend enough money. The first server we talked to (a young girl) was really sweet, we want to give her our compliments! But sadly enough, overall, our experience here...
