The BEST English Breakfast in Mallorca – and So Much More!
I don’t usually write reviews, but after visiting Trotters Bar in Mallorca on my honeymoon as Mrs Purdy, I absolutely had to. If you're after a proper English breakfast while you're away, look no further – this place is an absolute gem. The full English is spot on – proper sausages, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, beans, toast, the works – and a mug of tea that actually tastes like a cuppa from back home. And the price? Incredible value for the quality.
But what really makes Trotters special isn’t just the food – it’s the atmosphere and the people. There’s a warm, friendly, down-to-earth vibe that makes you feel at home the second you walk through the door. It’s clean, family friendly, and welcoming to everyone – whether you’re nipping in for breakfast or staying all evening for a few drinks.
Now let me tell you about Mo, the owner – what a legend! He’s the heart and soul of the place. Friendly, chatty, and always up for a laugh, Mo goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels looked after. He remembered us after just one visit and always made time for a proper chat. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers, and that kind of personal service is so rare these days.
We kept going back throughout our stay – it just became our go-to spot. Whether you're after food, drinks, or just a great atmosphere, Trotters Bar is the place to be.
Honestly, if you’re in Mallorca and don’t stop by Trotters, you’re seriously missing out. Mo and his fantastic team have created something really special, and I can’t...
Read moreWe were staying in alcudia and travelled to Can Picafort for a bit of sight seeing. (Early April) After spending time at the beautiful beach and promenade we walked back to the main road to get a bus back to Alcudia. We decided to go to Trotters Bar to cool down and boy were we glad we found this place. The fun element of the bar is brilliant and along with any sports channels you could ask for, its a perfect place for old and young alike. There is an extensive food menu but although we didn't partake on this occasion the food looked delicious. Good beer options also available at decent affordable prices. The bar manager (Mo) was a wealth of information and a really nice man. He couldn't do enough to make my wife and I feel at home during our time in his pub. He also told me some helpful tips for all travellers. Do not pay cash on public transport, tap on with a credit or debit card as its a lot cheaper. (Make sure to tap off at the end of your journey) Also if you use the train which goes around Can Picafort town keep your ticket as you can use it on your return journey. Good tips especially for a family on holiday. We had such a nice time that we went the next day just to go and visit Mo in Trotters Bar. It's well worth a visit if you're anywhere near...
Read moreA la bruchette!! Doesn't even play episodes of Only Fools and Horses, instead just has Sky Sports News on. Two flavours of crisps, no nuts or pork scratchings. The owners say it's an English pub, if it was actually in England it would be closed within a month. This time next year I doubt they'll be millionaires if they carry on like this.
EDIT: it's worse than I thought. The guy running the place is aggressive, not willing to engage in a conversation about the issues and only interested in shouting and embarrassing you in front of your family when in fact I was trying to help him. He should spend more time addressing the glaring issues in his business, including filthy food preparation area that one can see from when ordering at the bar and the obvious multiple trademark infringements rather than moan about people leaving a bad review. If you don't like the reviews you get either make the changes to change what people think (all do-able with a bit of elbow grease and nice attitude) or close up shop or remove your business from Google maps. You do not have to be listed on there. Uncle Albert & Grandad would be turning in their graves if they knew their images were being lent to this...
