I was really disappointed in the service and working in the service industry myself i understand its not always easy to attain to clients and their wishes but the minimum is some attention and consideration which i felt we didnât receive from the time we entered the venue. We were completely ignored and werenât directed by the host to a table and had to work hard to figure out who to address ourselves to, in order to receive a table and once we did we sat and we didnât receive a menu for 10 minutes. I understand the server came on a last minute shift and was a bit overwhelmed, however the host seemed to give a lot of attention to other older or retired clients that seem to be recurring guests instead if us. aside from that the food wasnât very special for the high prices. I recommend the sweet potato fries which were good but we also had octopus skewers that were hardly cooked and tasted not good and there were a few pieces of octopus with mashed potatoes for a high price and simple composition. Iâm also disappointed because I specifically asked the server what is in the soup of the day to make sure it was diary-free and plant-based (carrott soup) and he seemed rather reluctant to want to answer but finally suggested to go check with the cook, he did, came back and told me it was a carrot orange flavour soup which for me was great. When I received the soup i saw some white cream on top and already thought it was diary cream and i asked the server and he said it had no lactose but that it was cream. I looked at him in disbelief as i had just told him i specifically wanted no dairy in it , i never mentioned i was lactose intolerant, i just said i did not want any dairy in my food because of allergic reaction, but i still can not eat diary even without lactose. Its my personal dietary restriction , which was completely disregarded and brushed off as âonly being decoration on topâ and i wanted to return it , but didnt feel the courage to because i had been brushed off like this. This is really not cool because when i work as a waitress i try to attain as much to the clients wish as possible to make them as comfortable as possible. i didnât feel the same from this service. the atmosphere of the venue itself is nice and cosy but i wouldnât recommend this place or come back here...

The steak here is absolutely delicious â perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Itâs definitely a good steak weâve had around.
What really makes the place special is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel right at home. Plus, the waiter from America is super cool (WE MISS HIM), adding a great vibe to the place with his friendly and attentive service.
Whether youâre coming for a casual evening with friends, a fun game of chess, or just to enjoy good food and drinks, Grand Cafe Jackies is the perfect choice. We always leave happy and looking forward to our next visit.

Tampoco supieron adelantarse a la situaciĂłn y tener mĂĄs personal en la cocina dĂłnde Ășnicamente habĂa una persona.
Al pedir mi cena , hasta 4 veces porque claramente me decĂan que si pero yo veĂa que no la habĂan comandado, me respondĂa el señor inglĂ©s de detrĂĄs de la barra que tardarĂa una hora, le dije que si pero que lo encargarse de una vez, que si no tardarĂa mĂĄs, se lo dije otras tres veces al camarero de sala, 4 veces en total...
Para finalmente pedir mi cuenta SIN CENAR y con una sorprendente falta de vergĂŒenza entregarme mi cuenta con mis tres TANQUES DE CERVEZA, sin un solo aperitivo, y no aparecer ni por casualidad mi cena, que por suerte no estaba comandada a cocina y por eso tampoco venĂa cobrada.
Dadas las circunstancias la valoraciĂłn serĂa cero estrellas, Pero cero absoluto.
Pero entendiendo las circunstancias de ayer, les concedo 3 estrellas, para volver otro dĂa con ninguna fĂ© en que la situaciĂłn mejore.
SĂłlo y Ășnicamente pensando que habrĂĄ muchĂsima menos gente y el Ășnico mĂnimamente espabilao del local ,(el cocinero) tenga la suerte, de que le llegue la comanda y yo tenga la suerte de poder probar la comida.
