Terrible food! We ordered four different dishes and each dish never tasted so bad. I ordered swordfish, what I got was a pancake fish with no taste, no flavor whatsoever. Never in my life I would expect a bad fish in the port restaurant with fresh fish. Obviously, this restaurant does not care about the food they serve. They don’t care, one person comes and leaves, more will come anyway. Second dish was tuna, king of all fish. The restaurant owners do not know how to serve it properly, they prefer to serve it frozen with no taste at all. Dorada, a local fish dry and terribly done. Hamburger you will get with a dry bun, nothing else. Forgot to mention, all you get with it is about 10 fries and a micro salad that wishes to be a salad. Please take my word for it, do not go there and spend your money. There are plenty of restaurants near by that will be happy to give you...
Read moreVery disappointed with this restaurant, we wanted to book for lunch, around 2, but was told its booked already, but they can take us earlier at 12.30 so we agreed. When we arrive at 12.30 one of us was still parking the car, just minutes behind. We felt rushed from the minute we arrived, we were reminded that we had to go for their 2 o'clock booking, we ordered our food and it soon came flying out to our table, out of the 4 meals we ordered, none of them were spectacular, fair to say, poorly presented, barely cooked, simple food, that's was quite pricy. My advice would be, instead of treating everyone other than your 2 o'clock bookings as unimportant guess, don't take booking and respect every customer that enters your restaurant as a valued customer. We may well have spent more that your 2 o'clock booking did. Definitely spend my...
Read moreExcellent value for the money! I would put 5, but docked for a couple things. Overall, delicious seafood, fast service. Highly recommend making reservations, and going early before the Spanish time rush if possible. If you like octopus, skip the pulpo a la gallega and get the pulpo a la brasa - cheaper (€12 v €14) and you get the whole pulpo and not some slices on potatoes. Also good: sepia a la plancha, chopitos fritos, sardinas, berberechos, zamburinas, dorada, patata con ajo. Don’t order the mussels - they did not taste fresh. And don’t get the calamari a la romana, maybe we got a bad batch but it was chewy. Sitting out on the patio is nice, but be aware, esp if you’re close to the kitchen door that leads to the patio, that it might smell a bit like bleach. This is not a 5 start restaurant but excellent value for the amount of...
