Restaurante Venecia Tapas — Restaurant in Santa Pola

Given the fact it was a Saturday night during peak Santa Pola tourist season, we were lucky to get the only outside table that hadn’t already been reserved. We went for our usual favourites and weren’t disappointed; the tempura cheese was the best I’ve had in the town; and the calamari was exceptional - with a pleasing high proportion of tentacles versus body! The portions (media) were generous and to be honest these dishes would have been sufficient, but I was drawn to the pizza with barbecue sauce rather than tomato; chicken; bacon and lots of cheese (no onion thanks!). This arrived with a fantastic crispy base and was very enjoyable, although I was disciplined enough to be able to leave half of it. There were many other fish and meat dishes on the menu that we’ll return to try another time. It was a problem for the waiter to divide the bill into three families. We had to pay all together. The food was tasty but the service could be better. No English menu. We were waiting very long for the food. There were nine persons and everyone got food in different time. No one asked us if we wanted anything more to drink or felt like ordering...

Ресторан не працює щодня. А всього декілька днів в тиждень. Місце в ресторані потрібно бронювати. І якщо ти хочеш змінити кількість людей - це не можливо, тому що вони не працюють напередодні. Їжа смачна, приготування карбонари і риби було в межах дозволеного- 25-30 хвилин. Офіціант підійшов через 3 хвилини після того, як ми взяли меню в руки. Ми попросили ще 5 хвилин, щоб визначитись з їжею. Але офіціант не підійшов ні через 5, ні через 10 і навіть ні через 15 хвилин. Хоч ми усім виглядом показували, що готові зробити замовлення. Я покликала іншого офіціанта, але він не підійшов. Через 25 хвилин очікування у нас прийняли замовлення. З напоїв замовила вино, яке наливали при нас і це великий плюс. Офіціант був ввічливий і вів розмову з уточненням щодо нашого замовлення. Це теж признак гарного сервісу. Їжа смачна. Але бажання її їсти зникло, коли по білій скатерці почав бігати тарган. Здається в цьому місці немає бути такий високий прайс, тому що рівень закладу - звичайне кафе, але аж ніяк...
