Beautiful spot and super friendly staff! I randomly walked in late night after having just arrived in Santander, looking for dinner. I saw the plate of the day advertised and wanted to just get easy light food without having to translate the pintxos or other local food first (again, I was tired after a long travel day and starving at about 10pm). It's usually only available for lunch, but they made an exception and got me the plate anyway. It was absolutely delicious, and the chardonnay was perfect as well. I was treated very friendly and felt welcome. Very reasonable prices, lovely indoors and also lovely outdoor seats in a quiet street. Definitely recommend. Thank you for rescuing my first night in Santander!

My husband and I found this restaurant as we walked around Santander. The food and wine pairing was excellent and the house special grilled octopus was second to none. The owner of the establishment had great suggestions and over all was fantastic. Kayak is not to be missed on a trip through Santander.

If I could give this place more stars I would! The staff are amazing - so friendly, chatty and welcoming to us as tourists. We revisited here on our final night of travels and it was the perfect end. Gorgeous drink, delicious food and unforgettable staff. I highly recommend!

If I could give this place more stars I would! The staff are amazing - so friendly, chatty and welcoming to us as tourists. We revisited here on our final night of travels and it was the perfect end. Gorgeous drink, delicious food and unforgettable staff. I highly recommend!

Soy y vivo en Santander, me he sentado 2 veces contadas en este sitio y me ha pasado lo mismo. Es sabido que las tapas son gratis , pero lo que no se puede hacer es dar a unos clientes y a otros no. Ayer cuando pedimos nos sirvieron amablemente y pasado 5 minutos , se sientan dos mesas , les atienden y les ponen una tapa.llamo a la camarera y la digo amablemente que si no tiene una tapita para con los vinos. Me dice que se han acabado, la digo que acaba de sacar tapas a la otras mesas y me contesta que es que las tapas las dan si pides raciones, las cuales no aparecen en ninguna de las dos mesas. Yo me enfadé pero de buenos modales la dije que eso no lo puede hacer, dar tapa a unos clientes y otros no y menos contestar tonterías.

Como digo es la segunda vez que nos pasa. Será que no somos de su agrado. Pero dinero teníamos. Así que nos levantamos y nos fuimos a cenar al restaurante de al lado. Mal le va a ir a este chico dueño que tiene otro negocio en la calle Castelar , como trate así a la gente. PD: enseñe a sus camareros a...
