If I could have given 0* I would have. We have been coming to Santander for 10yrs This has to be the worse food, service and hospitality we have received in any establishment. We sat for almost 30mins before the little old man acknowledged us, he forgot to bring a menu but came back and asked for our order. One caña and one cola. I asked if the tomato was the pulp on toast he said it was. My husband ordered FRENCH toast with SWEET sauce. Mines came it was a full plate of fresh tomatoes a little carton on olive oil and one of vinegar. My husbands was 1 slice of baquette and a teaspoon of cream and same of SWEET sauce. The waiter was stressed. I went inside to pay €26. I noticed him preparing drinks and serving tables. It was lunchtime he should have had help. There was a younger man came forward and took my money. Which is unfortunate because we love Sardinero. I wish now I had taken photographs of the food! PLEASE REVIEW YOUR LUNCH MENU. YOU DO HAVE 'FRENCH' TOAST AS AN OPTION. A Memorable Experience with Excellent Service

We had a delightful experience at this restaurant, where we found ourselves immersed in its cozy ambiance for hours. A special shoutout to our waiter, Yani, who went above and beyond by informing us that the kitchen closed at 4. Although we couldn't order a full meal, Yani suggested grabbing a snack from the neighboring deli. We opted for a small plate of cold cuts and cheese, and Marta skillfully delivered a beautifully arranged platter. Vistas y situación inmejorables pero el servicio de comedor y la atención deja bastante que desear. Pedimos como entrantes unas alcachofas rellenas que nada más traerlas a la mesa y probarlas nos dimos cuenta de que estaban en mal estado y tuvieron que retírarlas. (Aún estamos esperando una disculpa.) La ración de pulpo a la brasa con salsa estaba fría…. El plato que pedimos de canelon relleno de setas y foie para mi hija, el foie brillaba por su ausencia…pedimos un machote para compartir entre dos personas , nos dijeron que la pieza más pequeña que tenían era de 1k300gr, pero aun así la pedimos por si alguien más de nuestra mesa quisiera compartir con nosotros….Cuando nos traen la ración para dos nos quedamos estupefactos….una ración justita de pescado eso si..con mucha patata….teniendo en cuenta que el precio del plato se cobraba por kilo…..nos pareció un auténtico engaño…solicitamos otra botella de agua que por supuesto no trajeron…..media hora para esperar a los postres, ni nos preguntaron si íbamos a tomar café/infusion/copa…Despues del incidente con el plato en mal estado no tuvieron el más mínimo detalle…En fin… estábamos de celebración familiar y fue una pena perder de esa manera el tiempo y el dinero. Entiendo que para alguien que venga de fuera pueda resultar espectacular el lugar, porque realmente las vistas valen el precio….pero nada más Sinceramente, una experiencia pésima que sin lugar a dudas no volveremos a repetir ni por supuesto recomendar. Lugar sobrevalorado. No recuerdo salir de ningún otro restaurante con tan mala sensación ni cabreo.
