We're new in this town, and this was the first restaurant we visited. What a WONDERFUL way to begin our residence here!

Spoiler alert: we love Mexican food (of all regions, even Tex-Mex ). We also love Peruvian cuisine. So, a small restaurant with both? Yes, please.

We bopped in on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 without a reservation. Our waiter sat us upstairs and we watched as the place slowly filled up around us. (Note to self: Make a reservation next time!)

The menu is on a QR code. Most items have good photos. While the menu is not endless, there are wonderful selections, and each may well be the "specialty of the house. "

Our waiter was very attentive but not intrusive. He explained everything we asked about with humor and patience. My tamales were among the best I've ever had, as were my wife's enchiladas verdes... but the real surprise was the dessert our waiter recommended: the homemade "Tarta de Lucuma." Don't bother to look it up. Just order it!

After a cold and rainy day in Santander, we had the priviledge to eat amazing chilaquiles, chicharrones and burritos. Amazing flavors with an extra spicy kick for those who like it (and we certainly did). Not only that, but the staff was so friendly and nice that we decided to go eat there again on the next day! Llame para pedir a domicilio a las 7,30 de la tarde ,para que me lo traigan pronto ya que abren a las 8 ,pero eran las 9,43 de la noche y nada ,llamo y me dice 1, que lo han traído y que nadie abrió 2, que me llamaron y nadie contestó 3, no asumían su responsabilidad y me hechaban la culpa a mi. Cosa que todo esto es mentira . 1, le pregunto, has venido lo normal es que si nadie te abre llames al teléfono que se lo di por norma siempre lo piden ,ya vamos con la 1ra mentira 2, le pregunto que número tienes y me dice los número y estaban mal ,pero ya me dijo que me llamaron ,seguía mintiendo 3,queriendo hechar la culpa de su falta de responsabilidad,porque en vez de decir ,lo siento no podemos coger pedidosolo por la app y disculpa ,no tendría que poner esto ,pero ni una disculpa ni nada ,le digo pásame con tu jefe ,justamente tampoco está ,en fin así vais ,luego, va a comer 1 sopa persona y la sientan abajo donde está el bullicio ,gente bebiendo ,pides subir y te dicen que no ,que solo es para grupos ,osea tú dinero vale poco por comsimir poco, totalmente poco profesional este establecimiento,espero que mejoren porque como sigan así...
