I rarely give a restaurant five stars, this is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in Andalusia, and the price is very friendly, even cheaper than eating a McDonald's set meal. Apart from the fact that there is an ancient Roman ruin nearby, I would be willing to make a special drive to eat at this restaurant. Their ENSALADA MASCARPONE is one of the best salads I have ever eaten in my life. Fried and chopped onions with a special sweet and sour sauce. There is an almond-wrapped mascarpone on top and sesame leaves below. It is really good together Eat, for which we ordered another one. Their risotto rice grains are tasty, moderately soft and hard, and have a strong mushroom aroma. Apart from being slightly salty, I also recommend it. Best meal we had during our trip in Sevilla wasn't even in Sevilla. If you are doing a day trip to see the Roman ruins of Italica, or even if you aren't, I suggest you stop by this charming little restaurant for, guaranteed, a great Spanish meal at great value. The food — immaculate, delicious, generous in portions. It was ~4€ for a tapas which was about the same size as a a 1/2 portion back in Sevilla. Highly recommend the nachos, anything with the truffle sauce (risotto or pasta), and the shrimp in hot garlic oil. Peña Cultural Bética de Santiponce in Santiponce is an okay place to visit. The location is easy to find and convenient. However, the food was not that good, as it was bitter and not well seasoned. The positive aspect of our visit was the excellent service provided by Domi. She was attentive and ensured that we had a comfortable experience throughout our visit.
