María de Luna — Restaurant in Segorbe

We ordered a menu for dinner. The starter was respectable, but when we came to the main course it got horrible. I ordered a simple burger, and got a burger with raw meat and no burger bun. I asked the waitress for a bread, and she came out with a bread that wasn’t even finished. It was hard like a shell on the outside, hollow and just doughy in the middle. I complained to the waitress and she said it was supposed to be like that. Both the burger and the bread.

On the bright side the dessert was really good, and not dry at all. I ordered a chocolate cake.

But the bad service here, disgusting burger and lack of English makes it hard to communicate, irritating and pulls the whole place down. Very awkward energy here too! No music, you could hear the table next to...

Frecuento este restaurante desde que se inauguró hace unos 10 años. A destacar la terraza de verano y el menú de degustación “Gastrotapas”. También son recomendables las jornadas gastronómicas de setas en el mes de noviembre. Es una lástima que su Jefa de Sala lo estropee todo. Este verano 2018 se ha lucido especialmente. Hasta en dos ocasiones me he sentido maltratado por ella. En la primera, me echó la bronca delante de mis compañeros de cena por una reserva que supuestamente había hecho mal. En la segunda, nos amargó la cena al servir un vino en mal estado y ponerse “estupenda” hasta el punto de no querer servirnos más vino, aun pagando. Esta señora no tiene ningún respeto hacia los clientes. Se nota que es la nuera del jefe y no le hace falta ser amable para ganarse el jornal. Es vox populi en Segorbe el comportamiento osco de la indicada Jefa de Sala. Hasta que no sustituyan a esta señora, que no me esperen en este restaurante.
